"We had a lunch today 22 April following a recommendation from a chef in Tarbes. Considering France’s general lack of interest in spicy food, the meal was excellent and everything I remember about similar dishes in the UK. I understand if you ask, the chef will “English it up” to suit British Indian Restaurant palates. However my only criticisms were, no poppadoms/pappads and the serving temperature could have been a little warmer. Great meal, we'll be back."

The principle of the restaurant is (almost) simple...: Per person you have 3 starters (cold and hot) placed in the center of the table to share 2 hot dishes For 19€ There is no menu, the chef imposes his dishes (nothing is displayed, that's what bothered me). For the children, the chef doesn't pay, he considers that he will nibble on the parents' plates"

"This pizzeria is for me the best of Tarbes. Pizzas are cooked in wood fires, and yes the pizza cooked next to the fire, as much as tell you that the taste of pizza is exceptional. The same is true for the pasta that is gratinated in the same wood oven: they are to fall stiff. With respect to the quantities, nothing to say, pizzas have a good size, and for pasta, advice to small stomachs, you will not finish your plate. The reception is very pleasant, the service irreproachable, it is clean, simple but well decorated. Only flat the indoor dining room is a little bit small: has been able about 26 maximum covers, but has the summer season you can, you can install on an outdoor terrace that is spacious and pleasant."

"Nous sommes venus dans cette auberge par le biais d'une box et nous n'avons pas du tout regretté. Des la réservation au téléphone l'accueil était chaleureux, nous avons aimé le charme un peu désuet de la chambre et de la salle de bain. Comme il n'y avait pas grand monde on nous avait attribué la chambre "magenta" très spacieuse avec un grand lit et Deux lits jumeaux qui bénéficie en plus d'un grand balcon avec vue sur les Pyrénées.Le repas du soir était très bon et copieux et le matin nous avions entre autre de la tourte des Pyrénées. Situe dans un petit village à 7km de Tarbes, 15 km de lourdes, c'est un très bon point de départ pour de nombreuses visites et randonnée. Son grand parking couvert est un plus l'hiver.Nous avons adoré l'accueil chaleureux de notre hôtesse Encore mille merci"
