Le Di-Vin is a very refined and clean establishment where you can enjoy high-quality French dishes. The staff is excellent and provides great hospitality. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

By far the best wine bar I've been to in Edinburgh (and I've done more than five I think). A very good selection of wines by the glass from all around the world. I hope you can locate it. The menu is very intriguing and reasonably priced. The food options are limited, but the French cheese always looks tempting. We tried the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream, which were not French, but still good. A glass of champagne costs £8.95. The staff is friendly when they have the time to chat.

Climbing up to the restaurant, I found a bright, charming, and cozy dining room filled with local ladies and office workers. Located away from the city's touristy areas, it was a refreshing change from my typical dining experiences. I had grown tired of overly indulgent meals at restaurants and pubs, so discovering this place was a welcomed change. The dishes on the menu were beautifully presented and delicious, though the mussels I ordered were a letdown - too small and overcooked. The maitre d' spoke French, English, and even a bit of Spanish, showing a genuine desire to please customers. I look forward to returning in the future.

Sometimes you just need to escape Edinburgh a little. Not because it 's awful in any way, just sometimes you need to be somewhere else for a while. For me, that place is Le Di 'Vin. It 's like stepping into another world, a lovely rustic French world where everyone drinks wine and shares plates of cheese all day every day. In fact it 's not 'like ' that, it is EXACTLY that. The sharing plates of cheese (ok and charcuterie if you are meaty) are sensational. I have no idea what they are, but there are some sensational ones each and every time. After sarah and I have recently changed jobs, sarah and I spend more time in the west to get to know the eating and drinks scene. Today we brought to le Di-Vin to try a Sharing plate. an impressive wine map was adapted by a lively atmosphere in a pleasantly spacious and bright bar room. our pinot noir was delicious and from a cheese and meat plate of high quality products. However, I feel that with a few small tweaks this place could be raised from good to great. for example, why do they serve good brot, cheese and meat with small packages of butter would they expect to find in a super market caffe? the experience...

Le Di-Vin wine bar sits next to and behind La P’tite Folie in Tudor House and is part of the same family. With its double-height ceiling and muted colour scheme, it’s an elegant space. I celebrated a birthday there a couple of years ago, on the mezzanine in the back. It was a great place to be as it was private enough for a party, but inherits the buzz of the wine bar. Last week, C. and I went to Le Di-Vin to try their new sharing plates. I’ve mentioned before that I like a good sharing plate. I also like a good bottle of wine. Le Di-Vin gives you both.
