"A little and unpretentious gem, 2 steps from the Eglise Saint-Pierre. Well thought food and beverage menus. Some might think that the menu is limited but at least it ensures quality, freshness and sustainable planning (no waste). The menu is quite creative but reflects a perfect understanding of the ingredients Madame, assisted by a lovely waiter welcomes guests, while Monsieur is in the kitchen. Furthermore, everybody is extremely flexible hen facing challenging customers such as I i.e. no garlic, no onions, no cream!! They however, managed extremely well and even offered me the dessert because I had my dish (the dorade, 'just ' steamed). I do highly recommend this place. Make sure to have a booking. Just one downside, since the weather was exceptionally warm, the place lacked a bit of air but nothing that could spoil the experience."

"Venus pour dîner, nous avions pensé à réserver et avions bien fait. Un samedi soir, plusieurs couples ou petits groupes ont dû être refoulés car le restaurant était plein, ce qui est déjà un gage de bonne adresse ! La carte est variée, tournée à la fois vers les plats italiens mais aussi ce qui se fait de fameux en local. Les produits sont excellents, très biens cuisinés et présentés avec goût. Une certitude, on ne ressort pas de ce restaurant en ayant faim. C'est copieux mais pas surchargé et tout donne envie. Nous avions choisi des andouilles grillées et une pizza, impossible de dire ce qui est le meilleur ! Accueillant et souriant, le service est fluide et mesuré. Leurs vins italiens sont très bons et s’accommodent bien avec les plats. En bref, nous avons passé une excellente soirée ! Merci au Don Camillo...."

"Wir sind durch Zufall in der Creperie gelandet. Vorher hatten wir den Jardin des plantes, der direkt neben der Creperie beginnt, besucht und diesen können wir echt empfehlen. Auf dem Rückweg kehrten wir ein und bestellten Galettes, Cidre, Crêpes und Eis. Der Service war ok, wobei die Leute nicht wirklich fröhlich wirkten. Das Essen war auch ok, aber wir haben schon bessere Galettes gegessen. Der Beilagensalat war langweilig angemacht und auch das Arrangement war etwas lieblos. Immerhin war der Crêpe sehr gut und auch das Eis war gut. Vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass viele Leute da waren, Einheimische, was ja eher für das La Morinière spricht. Wir würden uns beim nächsten Mal, etwas anderes suchen."

"Our favourite place to eat We first went to Ratelier about 13 years, when our in laws stumbled across it. We have since bought a holiday house 8km from Coutance and have continued to visit every time we are over normally 5 times a year. We take all our family/friends who visit us there and recommend it guests who rent our house. We love the gallettes especially the norvegiane which is smoked salmon and cream. We are ALWAYS made to feel most welcome and have never had a bad meal. We suggest you book if there a few of you. We are a family of 5 so book. I remember once just my partner and I went and there was no tables but they made space by splitting a table. I give the Ratelier the thumbs up every time a perfect eatery for a family or a cosy table for two. We have just been back after 9 months of not being in France and again made to feel very welcome. This is a wonderful place we Love it !"
