"My wife, my daughter and I were on holiday in Switzerland, and were brought here by our friend Scilla, who is a regular. Despite the fact that our daughter was having a grade 1 meltdown when we came in, we had a really good experience...here. The staff were really nice, and seemed to appreciate my appalling attempts at communicating in French (you know, as opposed to shoutng laaaaager! very loudly 6 times in English). I had the pepper sauce burger, Becca had a sandwich and Scilla a salad. The food was top quality and came quite quickly, the portion size was also very generous. The place has a nice feel, and is clearly very popular with the students at the nearby Fribourg Uni. All in all I would say it was really good, and I would highly recommend Le Mondial to anyone. To be honest its very hard to rate cost, as the way the Swiss Franc exchanges with the makes everything seem expensive, but from a Swiss point of view, I 'd say excellent value!!"

Plain and simple - ballon mondial - best burger in town! Homemade chips & burger bread and just tasty awesome meat... THE place to have a burger!

Le Mondial has a small card with "tartines", hamburgers and salads. Nothing pretentious, but are are really good, loved their home made potato chips.

Nice burgers and tartines. All food prices reduced on Tuesdays making it very affordable, but make sure to book your table, the place fills up quickly. The home made ice tea is pretty good.

The Burger is really good. It was big and tasty. The fries were very good as well. And the atmosphere in the restaurant is very chill. We had to eat at the bar because the place was full but we didn't mind.

I have only been in here once, and it was to take advantage of their WiFi since mine was down. It was recommended to several of us as a good spot of get free wifi, but the connection is terrible and I was never able to load my home screen. However, the atmosphere is nice and casual, and I heard no complaints from my friends about the food and drinks.The bartender was very nice and provided his phone to use as a hotspot for a friend of mine.
