"I invited friends to take an aperitif and dinner this Saturday evening, June 24, 2017, the evening ended for us in front of an old slice of ham at home. In this establishment we barely got an aperitif served with bad grace, not even accompanied by a miserable peanut and after an hour, although we asked for the map, no one came to worry about our table. This is all the more unworthy as the waitress was brewing air and was snacking non stop in the visible kitchen of the restaurant's terrace by pretending not to see that we were waiting to have a poor card!!!The day before, the aperitif served in the bar of a hotel next to it also really felt pain as the glasses were cheated without even a chip or an olive!!!! for a place that boasts to be the capital of wine. I think it will be necessary to revise the reception to keep the tourists and I will now not offer anything to my friends in this town where I have recently resided!!!!!NB: affluence this evening from the small business around 9pm : 6 tables of 4 people maxi for 2 servers"

prices are completely disconnected from the account of the plate. short a tourist trap. The frame is nevertheless very pleasant.

small restaurant in a building of the 1970s resembling a lighthouse, you find a small business, a magnificent setting in front of the estuary, a friendly welcome and a map of the dishes and wines rich and of quality. I really recommend for a relaxing and greedy stage.

on the edge of the gironde estuary, large parasols and the river breeze (2 essential elements in the summer!), fresh and appetizing fish, excellent vegetable fillings, and a map of desserts that puts water to the mouth. What more? However, a dessert dish, a drink, the addition tends to climb, but the quality is there and it is the essential.

When like me, we love seafood, we scare easily and order. Attention we quickly arrive at an impressive total. cooking is not always perfect. For example, the knives were too cooked and therefore rubbery. the wine list is tristounette. we offer very medium wines to the glass at €6, which is excessive. We have the nose on the gironde but it's still a restaurant like beach pebbles. So we're far from a big table if it's not by the price. Visualizza piatti

between friends after the disappointment of not finding an open castle on a Saturday we had the chance to find the restaurant the small trade in pauillac. an exceptional welcome, very rich hosts of their origins, a quality exchange and a quality lunch accompanied by a very good between two seas. our hosts have also been busy getting in touch with the tourist office to find us an open castle ... they have succeeded.Thank you for this delicious moment

Restaurant tested because the surrounding castles opened only in the afternoon and we would have done better to go elsewhere...Day formula for me the impeccable entry of good well cooked products, simple but effective. It's on the dish that it's complicated a redt barbet full of stops and a tail of rubbery lotte all over a cold trim. my companion who, he, had taken a charcuterie board for lack of a more satisfactory proposal for those who do not like the fish had a thin, rather low-end charcuterie board charged to 16 euros. very expensive for what it is.

"We were great fans of chef Jean Luc Roca who has now gone to another Relais property, St James hotel in Paris. There is a therefore a new chef Julien Lefebvre in residence. In my humble view fans of the cooking here needn't worry, many of the principles of using local suppliers and excellent ingredients with provenance are still important principles. The results are spectacular with food that has an amazingly light touch, dishes are works of art, never mind the flavour sensations. The menu is shorter, four starters, fish, meat and desserts. There were many highlights, notably the sea bass with minestrone and basil broth, in fact the cooking of the fish in particular is amazing. A quick mention for the small side dish of Turbot trimmings in the most unbelievably light tempura served with bouillabaisse. The citrus dessert, was especially stand out. More high points were generous portions of melon with Gambas, gazpacho and pork cheek which were sublime. Chicken breast with caviar slow cooked with Noilly Prat sauce, delicious. And the pigeon three ways with crumb covering, potato purée and the most silky smooth jus.... I could go on and on!!! Arnaud Le Saux is still the chief sommelier and his help and recommendations were as interesting and thoughtful as ever. There were, at least for me, a few shortcomings in so much as the cheeseboard choice has been considerably reduced, now I like cheese, and I like the theatre of all the choice and at 22 Euros I think there should be more of it.The same goes for the bread, there are only two choices and just salted, unsalted butter and olive oil. Finally the appetisers stay the same regardless of how many times you eat there and it would have been a nice touch if repeat guests had these changed during their stay. Still these are little things compared to the overall picture and dining here in my view is still a really strong recommendation and well worth a detour to sample the cuisine."
