the menu is short and brilliant and also offers “Mountain Specials”. venison excellent. lamb curry as it should be. desserts raised.

great place here in late november, shortly after the first snow of the year. fabulous tartiflette, big wein, and easy the best cafe girl I ever had. I'll be back soon!

I can't decide what's the best thing in this place: the stunning view of the mountains, the cozy environment or the tasty food. Everything it's perfect. I ordered the traditional Raclette and it's just delicious - I highly recommend it.

Just had the salmon fondue tonight. The mix of bay, fennel, garlic and onion in a fantastic wine base. Outstanding. And had the incredible lunch there last Saturday. Best food ever. The veal chop was succulent. And they were hosting the movie crew tonight. Quality of service? Good as ever. 5*You cannot miss this experience.

Table of 5, I had the lamb with apricots and my husband had the chicken both served with roasted potatoes and a small quiche. All five of us enjoyed our meals especially when finished with Cafe Groumond a selection of sweets with coffee, amazing!!Would definitely return! Celine and Jean Marie make every visit special! Keep up the good work.

Last night of the ski season and eating at flocon! Where else? And just to prove you can always be surprised I had the tartiflette for the first time after all my visits. An amazing dish!! With Apple - yes apple. Deep Camembert hit, fabulous salty lardon, just right potatoes and a hint of Apple. Unbelievable. Céline and Jean-Marie are the best hosts you can ask for and food always hits the spot.

I was on Saturday without reservation. the restaurant was full. to the happiness was a few earlier finished than expected and I could secure a table. eating is great as it is the service. tartiflett was excellent. I liked the small cozy layout and personal service. not their typical mountain restaurant with pizza, pasta and mountain dishes with many hungry children for business. this is more demanding and had a living atmosphere.

This was our second visit to Auron and to Le P'tit Flocon. What an adorable little ski town Auron is. The restaurant is equally as quaint. The food is the star here! Simple, yet expertly prepared meals await you here. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Two of us shared the raclette traditional. Simply delicious! A plate of charcuterie and potatoes accompanies the large oozing, melty, deliciousness of cheese to put over your accoutrements. Our friend had the lamb shank which came with fruits and a lovely zucchini tart. Excellent! No surprise this is the number one rated restaurant in Auron!

We travelled up from Nice for a day’s skiing and as it happened the weather was bitterly cold. We called time on the skiing at lunch and popped into this restaurant once we’d changed out of our ski boots. Having visited for dinner on our...previous stays in Auron we knew how popular it is. We were fortunate to get a table and were made to feel welcome. The menu du jour on represents exceptional value for money when compare with the pistes and our pork main course was delicious. Will definitely return again. I feel slightly reticent about singing it’s praises as next time we might not be so lucky to get a table without a reservation! But I feel it’s necessary as the hosts are such lovely peop...
