"friends who live in france fairly locally recommended, we find this restaurant while we were on the market. not a massive front that is guided by a nice couple. she cooks, he's waiting in front of the house. we booked a table. because the restaurant is not very large, there are also sitting in the upper floor so that you are not turned off when you look through the door. we were greeted, our table was above as offered when we booked from the window. we had the set menu of 2 curses (Starter/main, although they can have Main/Dessert for the same price) about 17 euro per head. all freshly cooked with fresh vegetables! starter was duck-terrine for Daryl-Tetin of Ricotta cheese with Serrano ham for me, followed by the pock in senfsauce for daryl i had a brochette of bark. absolutely beautiful. the wein was also beautiful. total bill for 2 courses, 3 glasses wein 2 espressos, less than 50 euro we were full, even try the beautiful looking puddings. herr was congenially quick to point out, it was only his wife that everything was fresh. music in the background was English eclectic, but no less pleasant. frau was pleased to attend the entertainment while working in her compact kitchen with bijou. such beautiful men a divine lunch."

"Au premier abord, l'adresse semble hors de prix, prestigieuse, hautaine, bourgeoise...En fait, les propriétaires ont juste mis les petits plats dans les grands pour votre satisfaction. Et détail qui ne ment jamais, les toilettes ont le charme des anciens hôtels de luxe avec un sol en magnifique marbre, des serviettes individuelles et même de l'eau de Cologne.Bon, j'entre !Réservation du restaurant à l'accueil de l'hôtel, simple efficace et sympathique.Pour information, j'étais en short, t-shirt et chaussures de sport. Aucune réflexion déplacée, aucun dédain... parfait.Le soir, nous arrivons vers 19.00 heures, notre visite était annoncée. Cette fois ci, une tenue plus habillée, décontractée de ville (jean-chemise) et robe pour Mme nous semblait appropriée.Le repas prends un certain temps mais les amuse-bouche comblent parfaitement les temps morts. Service au petit soin et "à distance" pour nous laisser un peu d'intimité.l'entrée est une véritable découverte gustative.les autres plats ne font que confirmer les bons avis de l'endroit.Cerise sur le gâteau, j'avais discuté quelques minutes de la raison de ma réservation (anniversaire de mariage) et au moment du dessert, surprise, quelques friandises et les bougies pour fêter dignement l'évènement. Vraiment, je n'avais pas exigé un tel traitement, merci encore pour cette délicate attention...Enfin, l'ambiance décontractée des convives très différents (certains arrivants de la plage en sandales avec un bébé, d'autres presque en tenue de soirée), l'investissement du personnel dans la salle à respecter cependant une certaine étiquette crée un "truc" très étrange, mais d'une convivialité incroyable, un mélange improbable... C'est rare.finalement, dans une toute petite commune de Bretagne, Sainte Anne d'Auray, trouver ce type d'adresse relève presque du miracle."

"I have been here once before to enjoy a quiet, delicious pot of jasmine green tea, but today I finally tried their crêpes. I ordered L'Auray (a savory buckwheat galette with cheese, cured ham, egg, and a chutney of sautéed tomato, basil, and onion), a..."coupe" of two scoops of ice cream (caramel and rum raisin), and my friend and I shared a half-bottle of "brut" cider. Holistically, the meal was a success. I especially enjoyed the flavor combination of egg, cured ham, and tomato and basil, which is something I've never seen before in other crêperies. The buckwheat galette itself was rather on the thin side, and wasn't as buckwheat-y as in other Bretonne crêperies, but then again, those are personal preferences. One of the most lovely things about this crêperie, however, is the service and the ambiance it creates. The owners and their waitstaff are all incredibly warm and sociable without being overbearing. For this reason alone, I would return...and I probably will, for another pot of tea and more ice cream. *Note: "brut" refers to cider that is drier with a crisp, appley tang. If that doesn't sound like your style, ask for "doux which is sweeter and fruitier."

"a beautiful original burger card, the median tuna cooked perfectly glued for madam, and the meat bleeding as requested for sir. a gourmet pancake, a homemade chocolate and a good homemade ice cream to finish. the atmosphere is pleasant to test."
