"We had to try the star of the city. The welcome is courteous, the surprising decoration but that goes well with a creative cuisine. aperitif, various very colorful mouths. Inside, zebra tomatoes with some caviar grains, the well-presented set, in dish rednets, red peppers crustacean sauce then in dish veal with mushroom purée, veal juice sauce. then cream of epoisse and frosted cassis. bauble-shaped dessert on sandy paste. meal accompanied by an excellent saint aubin served by a friendly sommelier. the dishes are very colorful, the kitchen is tasteful and creative and the whole should have been on top if there had not been a big failure in the course of this menu in service. Indeed big wait for the dish, the redts arrived only after an hour after the entrance and barely warm to see cold while the sauce and trim were hot then the dish arrived less than mn after served with hot calfskin but in overcooked. a the Euro addition for the explanations of the bosses did not convince us (a change of card) because this problem of unfolding only happened for our table. It's a shame because the kitchen is really creative and harmonious."

A quality house without a doubt. However, an exaggerated event price is observed for a flute of champagne (very average) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Visualizza piatti

pleasant reception in a renovated room. a very beautiful performance of the leader who deserves his star. a small flat on a lover with a charolais beef, insipid and uninteresting, and that makes shade to the rest of the meal. good ideas but some dishes lack peps

Superlative experience, food, service and environment at the highest levels suitable for a starred restaurant, very rich cellar, all a stone's throw from the Abbaye de Saint Philibert, the Ecrin menu chosen by us is varied, rich and abundant, the Epoisse dish with the two versions of the cheese it was a wonderful surprise; the service was impeccable and carried out by qualified and kind staff, the environment was pleasant and quiet Service: Dine in

I rarely give my opinion but it's definitely a restaurant worth a visit. The setting is modern, tastefully decorated. The staff is very professional and knows the dishes and cheeses perfectly. I have rarely seen the preparation of dishes with so much delicacy on the harmony of colors matched, including with the dishes. The flavors are there. It is absolutely necessary to try this experience for those looking for non-overrated stars. If there was one point of improvement it would be the staff uniform but that is a detail. I'm surprised, too, when I read some opinions. a great leader in a refined setting. in addition to a pleasant service, a beautiful dish, original dishes, small attentions, have I read pretentious? I'm just saying, and let's talk about cooking! It's fine, perfectly cooked and seasoned. And it's so beautiful. So it’s expensive, but when you know how much it costs to turn such a restaurant (quire at michel threegros, which is its main source of profit, certainly not the restaurant)!, and then when you book it so you know .... for us an excellent time, friendly and greedy, thank you for the welcome, we will make it for sure.

When I read a few comments before mine, I say that this poor franc is the reflection of our current world. rot! We had the chance and privilege of having a place in this restaurant that deserves its star. a discreet and efficient service, the quality of the dishes and the refinement of porcelain rarely equal in other establishments. (and yet we have some comparison elements that you can see on my tripadvisor page). This dish sublimates the chef's dresses. it is obvious that we do not like everything in a restaurant of the floor to the ceiling and fortunately otherwise life will be sad and fade. Don’t forget !!! a restorer sacrifices this life and in particular thousands of hours of work to a...

"I remember this little restaurant at the end of Tournus main street being for sale a while back, and the owners were looking to pass it on to a deserving couple. They had a number of applicants and eventually chose César and Rima Asfar, refugees who had fled Syria two years previously having lost their home and their jobs in the civil war.César was a sales manager, and Rima a teacher but they knew enough about cooking to grab the chance of a new start, with César as chef and Rima as serveuse. However, at the end of the day a diner is not particularly interested in the back story - he just wants a decent meal at a fair price. And this is what the couple are providing. The space is very limited and there is just seating for 26. The menu is fairly simple Syrian fare, but everything is very fresh and well done, and the service is very quick and friendly even when they are full. There were four of us and we decided to have four different cold starters to share amongst us. However Rima said that the mains would have several of these as accompaniments to the dish, so we changed to warm starters instead. We do have some knowledge of Syrian and Lebanese dishes, but helpfully they are explained on the menu anyway. Taboulé, falafel, bourak, yalangi, hommos, moutabal and rice are available as a mixed vegetarian main too.Desserts from the Levant tend to be quite sweet, and seeds and rose water feature large. We all opted for knafed au fromage - a warm sweet cheese dish with pistachios.Although there are 3 or 4 French wines available the wine list is predominantly Lebanese. We had a Chateau Kefraya Les Bretèches rosé with the entrées and then Bretèches rouge with the mains, and both were extremely good. They list also a fairly new grower IXSIR which won high praise at the 2009 Bordeaux wine fair, and MYST that I’ve never encountered before. As they grow in skill and confidence César and Rima might want to extend their menu to encourage people to return more frequently, but they’ve certainly made a good start."
