Leo's Kitchen - Menu

This was our first visit since the restaurant changed from Buddies. I must say, it was a disappointment. The food was not up to par and the service was lacking. We will not be returning.

Me and my girlfriend went here on a Saturday night. Staff very welcoming and don’t rush you. Very punctual and polite. Food was great. Beef Bourguinon and the Haddock were brilliant. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Cocktails are amazing too.

The food at this restaurant was generally good, with most dishes being enjoyable. However, there was one dish that was not up to par. There was a slight mix-up with our order, but we decided to go along with it. Overall, our dining experience was pretty satisfactory.

We booked for a birthday lunch for 9 people and wow were we happy with the choice ! The roast dinners were the best I’ve ever had ! The potatoes were crisp, the Yorkshire puddings were enormous and crispy, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the portions were generous!

Went to Leo's Kitchen last night for a meal with friends and had a great time. We were greeted very warmly by the waitress and food and drinks were quickly ordered and served.The food was well cooked and nicely presented we had a burger, the salmon and the risotto cakes. The restaurant had a nice ambience, we appreciated the 80's music and the toilets were spotlessly clean. All in all an excellent experience and we will definitely return and recommend to others. Mixed opinions on the food quality and taste between me and my partner. He throughly enjoyed all of his food and found his steak to be one of the best he'd ever eaten. Whereas I did not enjoy my food one bit , the meat was over powered with herbs , the roast potatoes were rock solid and very undercooked and the Yorkshire pudding tasted like pure oil. Was not happy. I think this restaurant may be a hit and miss place and you may get lucky with your choice of food and other times you may not.

After reading some reviews we decided to try Leo’s for a roast dinner. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable with out being too full on. We had the calamari which was lovely and a generous portion. The roast was lovely with a great selection of vegetables. My only disappointmentwere the roast potatoes but we did eat quite late so that may have been the issue. However the rest more than made up for it. Spotlessly clean, and great layout of the tables so not squashed in. Will definitely return and recommend to others

We visited Leo's kitchen yesterday on our way back from an event. We could not have chosen a better place to eat. GREAT service, GREAT food and LOVELY people, (owned by a family . My companion was a very famous chef, so it is very difficult to convince him on where to eat, but LEO stood out with great lights. Not only we loved the food, also got to know the family and their son LEO (pictures on the wall , we had a great time. The tables give you enough space to walk around without overcrowding others, you can also hear each other : (difficult to find nowadays We highly recommend it. At 16:45 on a Saturday afternoon, I had telephoned ahead a few minutes earlier to check they had a table available. The friendly lady had advised we would need to vacate in two hours, which was more than enough time for our pre cinema dinner with our show starting in an hour.We were warmly greeted and shown to our table and left to read over the menu. Drinks orders were taken a few minutes later by which time we’d also decided on our food choices. We both ordered Oreo shakes and burgers, one with French fries and the other with triple cooked chips, and both done medium/well.
