"We did not understand the concept of this tea room. We chose Tomatoes and eggplant stuffed with beef. But we received a gloubi-bulga with a little stuffed tomato, a stuffing cinnamon, 3 green beans, 3 doughs a little crammed, 3 pieces of potato, green salad and at the bottom of the plate, a bean that was to be based on eggplant. The desserts were not much better: a cake spilled to plums and apples that looked more like a count with fresh cream but without cake; a cowrin with a ball of ice and pink pralines, but without meringue?! In short, very disappointed with the titles that do not reflect reality in the plate."

We spent a great evening accompanied by 25 guests at the Caprices du Gourmet. The organization was simple and fast. Pierre was very good advice for the choice of wines and his father Didier made the unanimous with his smoky and marinated salmon home and his fair calf ribs perfect! Already accustomed to the restaurant for lunch, this group dinner confirmed that the Caprices of Gourmet is an excellent address of the fee and homemade. Thanks again to them.

home kitchen, original and with fresh products. a unique dish every day (but the boss told us that there was always a “b plan” if someone didn’t like the dish of the day). For example, we have enjoyed a cold soup of coconut milk carrots, a calf (savvy and melting) scented delicately with orange and, to end, a very successful homemade iced cowrin. all for a very reasonable price (approx euros for dishes, for attentive and fast service, with a boss passionate about what he does. ideal for lunch in the city (and in addition they are open on Monday, which is far from being general to the East).

"Booked the day before, we arrive a little late, no worries for the welcome which was charming: First glances, the dining room is cozy, the armchairs cute, the restaurant decor is trendy. Low volume music giving the nice soundscape. The starters were as tasty as they were well presented, even a little surprise in the association of tastes. The dishes, more traditional, were very well made, no errors in cooking or seasoning, the sauces highlighting the meat well, and the effort of presentation always welcome. The wine advice was perfect, my glass of Corsican wine was even surprising and went wonderfully with my beef. We were able to taste only one dessert, because we had eaten well before, the chocolate cake was very good as well as the accompanying vanilla ice cream. "Only just of the beaten track which makes parking much easier! This restaurant is expensive in relation to others but is good value considering the quality and service. The menu takes a bit of working out as prices for steak are quoted by weight (multiples of 100gms) and the minimum weight you can order is also stated. To make matters more complicated you can also chose how many weeks the meat has been matured for. Whether you choose Classic or 4 week mature, the quality is all good and extremely well cooked. Even meat cooked very rare is melting. This is a "proper" steak restaurant so make sure you go for the steak. There are fixed price menus but I would keep it simple. Steak, chips with its side of vegetables. Pork and lamb is also available and there is a concession to non-meat eaters in the form of a mushroom omelette. I am sure it is delicious ......Wine is also priced at the top end and excellent. . House wine is also very acceptable.Whenever we have visited the clientele have been all French from the professional classes who are there to see and be seen. Its fascinating ! One little niggle. At the price, the amuse bouche could have been more exciting than a thin slice of fairly mundane salami with a chunk of bread. For faux filet (250 gms) and a large entrecote steak (450 gms) , with a bottle of AC Beaujolais the bill will be around 70 Euros. A starter and pud could increase that by at least 20 Euros. Nevertheless, recommended for the quality, service and ambience. The staff are really charming."
