"I came here with another couple and my wife to enjoy a quiet Sunday afternoon before Christmas week. We did not know what to expect, but the restaurant had received high marks and was highly recommended. Wow! To say the L'Eveil de Sens means the...awaken of sense is no joke. Every dish was magically prepared and brought together unique choices. We all shared so everyone was able to try different food items. To start, the restaurant gave us some pumpkin soup on the house. It came with a chestnut stuffing. This dish started a trend of wonderful things to come. We ordered three different entree from smoke salmon with seaweed wrapped leeks and caviar to crispy black pudding to the perfect egg, which was astonishingly great. It was egg in a in pumpkin royal puree with a l mushrooms emulsion. The mains were pork cheeks in a Christmas beer with red cabbage and potatoes flambéed tart style, a veal special of the day served Wellington style with green vegetables, and royal seabream with vegetables in a fish soup. The desserts were also incredible. One was the Black Forest mousse torte. Another was poached pears with ice-cream, a piece of cake, and mousse. Lastly, we got the customary cheese plate as the French make some outstanding cheeses. For 42 Euro, the food was well worth it. This has been my best meal inEurope over the past three years!!!"

sun and lunch on strasburg but that of palabres to go to settle on the terrace: not practical to serve !!!! . Several guests have made the same ! fresh and good flats but portions a little light for the price ! specialion for the entrance "small peas" the service : kind but so unprofessional ( advice / attitude )and long service lack of personnel ? disappointed because very good memories .

meal taken with friends a Sunday noon on the Christmas market. Welcome by the boss who installs us upstairs, it's narrow but once sitting, it's nice and quiet. you can find on the menu, dishes and desserts; Now, clearly, it will not be frozen in the microwave! In the plate, it's more than perfect. beautiful presentation, well worked is excellent from aperitif to dessert. very beautiful wine map

The kitchen is very good. The place is well located. the tables on the terrace are a little too close so the conversations are more or less shared. The suggestions are nice. presentation of the nice and neat plate the only hic are the portions, (at least this day for the entrance) a little bit small compared to the price but it is probably wanted to stick to a refined cuisine. the dish that day was exquisite, which makes the portions forget. The meat was excellent.

The taste-snap awakens here, as the name suggests.There is a three-speed menu for 39 €, just great, which is offered for this.Who is shying the price level of the top restaurants and still looking for an imaginative French cuisine is right here.
