"I'm coeliac so have to have gluten free i looked on the uber app and could only see one gf item so I called the shop who then told me to call the kitchen and gave me a separate number ,I called them and specified that I required gf ,he told me I could have chocolate gf cheesecake but that option wasn't on the menu online ,he then told me to go back on uber make the order for a ordinary cheesecake and then put a note to say I want this gluten free ! What a palaver for anyone who has allergies or dietary needs surely they can make it easier for us if that option was already on the menu !! Anyway delivery time wasn't bad cost was £30 but the cheesecake was still half frozen and had a dark chocolate taste nothing special at all ,the brownies were stodgy and very average so I was told ,the best was a hubba bubba sundae ,overall overated overpriced and can get better tasting food from tesco"

Staff seemed friendly, although quite young there wasn't any problems with the service so well done all! The food was also nice and served promptly and the dishes although one hot and one cold were bought out at roughly the same time so we could eat together which was great.

Food was nice but customer service was terrible, gave us our food but no questioning on if we wanted anything else, no warning as well that the plate was going to be hot to the point I’ve gone to hospital for 2nd degree burns on my fingers, would not recommend this place for family

Went out for a nice desert, started off with great service sat down, great smiles at first from the staff… but it all changed, when my youngest child had a episode, as normal 1-2yr olds do, all the staff then started getting funny giving dirty looks, complaining about their noise creations and making sarcastic comments behind the counter, I am one very unhappy customer, I felt uncomfortable and disheartened will not be returning anytime soon!! I genuinely believe this is the cleanest LDS we have been to. The female waitress on 16 9 23 around 3pm was extremely friendly. I have never known someone do a table check at a LDS but she did and we appreciated it. Only downside is in other shops we’ve been too the music was calming and more relaxing, we didn’t enjoy the soundtrack this time and thought it was too upbeat and more r’n’b type music. However, as I say- very clean restaurant, gorgeous desserts and fab waitress.

We were looking forward to a birthday treat. On arrival we were asked to put hand sanitiser on, staff member was wearing a mask, showed us to a table, and gave us a menu. The menu was dirty, the table sticky, staff members had no masks behind counter. We were told we had to go to counter to order, it felt very uncomfortable, and if it had been left to me then i would have left without ordering. However, we just had a drink. Despite signs saying contactless only, we had to pay cash. I did not see any tables being cleaned during our visit

Awful service. Order placed at 4.46pm and the order did not arrive until 6.20pm when we live 10 minutes away. I called at 6pm to chase the order and was told the food had just left the kitchen and be with me within 10 minutes. I find this delay totally unreasonable, I spent £38 and expected the order to be with me within an hour (as stated at the time of ordering). I received no communication that the order would be delayed either. With 2 young children waiting for their order, to be able to eat at a reasonable time I am extremely disappointed with this service. Ordered a delivery from shop in Telford costing £30 firstly it arrived late. I ordered the date night pancakes which is a favourite of mine so have had it a few times, supposed to have 5 pancakes only had 3, had hardly any sauce on it and the pot of chocolate gelato that's supposed to come with it wasn't in the bag. I rang the shop the same night multiple times and kept trying until they shut at 11pm no one answered the phone, tried again the next day again multiple times still the same recorded message. For the prices they charge you expect a lot better quality. Don't want to leave any stars on this review but have to to submit it. Obviously making too much money to care about their custome...

Arrived 4pm and waited by “wait here” sign. Minutes pass and the five staff on duty were all too busy chatting to see us to a table only one other table was occupied. Eventually walked up and sat at a table. Went to order some deserts to be told Spanish coffee “we’ve got none” (not, “I’m sorry, it’s not available” . Girl who served me seemed amused by this. Ordered something else but in the time I had gone back to check with my wife what else she would like to drink, the girl had gone. Had to shout over to other Staff to complete my order and was looked at like I had done them a disservice by asking for service. Desert was okay, but not brilliant. Prices medium to high (60 quid for a alcohol...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."

"Travelled from Spain for a Family birthday , six of us, we booked the private dining room upstairs. Parking is a little difficult on a Sunday afternoon so allow a little extra time We had to wait a little before being shown upstairs but the...room was perfect for us to enjoy family time in an exclusive environment Service was excellent, discrete but perfectly attentive. Food menu was presented informatively and honestly the beef delivered to the kitchen was Below their usual standard so came with a caution) The food was excellent and presented beautifully. A perfect cauliflower soup, smoked mackerel, croquettes were amongst the starter, we all had perfectly cooked pork and all went for a delicious Brad and butter pudding. Great wine menu which we indulged as befitting the occasion Thank you all for making an important occasion perfect Special mention to Deb who ensured that we left happy and replete. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and, if we were back living in the Uk, would be a regular customer"

"A friend of mine was visiting Ironbridge from North Wales, and wanted to meet up to explore the town and a walk along the River Severn. I looked on TripAdvisor for cafes with good vegan options for him and found Eighty Six'd. The cafe is small and intimate; it's like a converted maisonette. The loo is downstairs by the front door, there's a few steps up to the main cafe floor (which has lovely big bay windows , and the kitchen and till are in an adjoining room. Staff were polite and gave us time to peruse the menu and chat. There's art and poetry from local creators on the walls exhibited like a mini museum; it's for sale too for the curators amongst you, but worth having a wander around to just look. Maggie Cameron's bird themed art is beautiful! I didn't have food, just an Earl Grey tea, but my friend ordered a vegan chickpea and sweet potato salad, along with a vegan scone with coconut cream and preserve. Everything was beautifully presented (very colourful! and he was impressed with the quality of the food so next time I find myself in Ironbridge, I'll try something vegan myself! I did sneak a bit of the coconut cream out of curiosity, and it was pretty moreish... Thanks, folks great to drop by, hopefully we can do so again sometime."

"A really disappointing experience. When I arrived all the staff were busy, so I took a seat. I got essentially told off by a waitress for this. My mistake, I thought, so just forgot about it. I arrived at Noon at it took 20 minutes to take my drinks order and I didn’t get order any food until gone 12.45pm. Again though, they had warned that the kitchen was a little behind (they said 10 minutes) and a large group arrived just after me so no big deal. Then, as one of our group went to the toilet a waitress grabbed the empty chair (without asking) to give to another group. We very politely informed them that there was in fact someone sitting there. “You should have put a bag there, then” came the reply. Very unpleasant totally unreasonable. I won’t be returning I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"My wife and I, staying 30 minutes away, decided to check out this pub after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. We ordered two cokes with our Sunday roast sharing platter, but had to remind the staff to bring them after waiting 10 minutes. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with only two tables of customers. Our food arrived shortly after we asked for plates, but the service was lacking. The young waitress seemed curt when we asked about the plates, and as our food got colder, the staff kept bumping into me as they walked past. The beef was slimy, the potatoes seemed frozen, the pork was dry, and the gravy was watery. The staff did not seem attentive or friendly, and we left without a thank you or goodbye from any of them. Overall, we will not be returning to this place. Despite its clean and modern appearance, we recommend avoiding this restaurant and finding a nice country pub instead. Service: 2/10."
