Amazing ice cream thick creamy and tasted great lots of choice staff very polite and loads of topping’s even dairy free ice cream

Fab ice cream, such a variety of flavours and the staff were so lovely. Loved the fact we could sit outside too. We would definitely return if we were in York again

Called in on a very sunny Sunday for an ice cream and I had the custard cream flavour in a cone. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Definitely be back

Amazing range, flavour and toppings, what more could you want?! The shop is pretty inside and out too (although I really disliked the faux foliage, perfect apart from the roses! A real gem.

I can't comment on the ice-cream, but the cakes and tray bakes are, quite simply, out of this world delicious! There's an abundance of choice too, meaning a second visit is very much on the cards.

Perfect central location for an ice cream in the summer sun sooo many delicious flavours and toppings to choose from including vegan options. The girls who work there are super friendly and it’s a gorgeous looking shop too, will definitely be back!

I have been visiting this ice cream shop since it opened 9 years ago and after my recent visit felt compelled to write a review. This used to be our favourite Ice cream shop. I loved the pretty decor and vintage china and the ice cream was perfect. The last few times we’ve visited I’ve noticed a strong smell of stale milk. We’ve all still quite enjoyed the ice cream but at £3.95 for a simple cone I’m finding it quite expensive considering the decor isn’t as appealing and the cleanliness and friendliness of staff isn’t optimum. I’d be so sad to see this shop go but I really feel this feedback needs to be considered in order to give the shop longevity.

We were after a sweet treat and popped in as it looked nice and pretty from the outside. The decor inside was nice too! There were plenty of gelato flavours to choose from and toppings also! I went for Malteser flavour and chocolate drops on top. It tasted delicious!! They have a good section of shakes (for example: coffee shakes, thick gelato shakes, sorbet shakes) and different options for cones/tubs. Make sure you ask for a rewards card if you live in the area. Popped into Licc one Saturday afternoon. It has been ages since I 've been to this place. Used to visit all the time when my kids were younger. The ice cream was as devine as ever. I had 2 scoops in a tub, custard cream biscoff and peanut butter rolo. At £5.95 it was almost double what we used to pay, but to be fair, I did get a decent portion.
