"Leigh was fantastic - we had a birthday celebration and the guest of honor was treated exceptionally well. He thoroughly enjoyed the milkshake offered to him, as well as the dessert at the end. We always love the food at this restaurant and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The team and the food are both top-notch! Vegetarian options include delicious burgers. This is a great spot for dinner with prices ranging from £60 to £70 per person."

"Entering the stablishment was fine got told to sit anywhere.. after sitting for over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, I personally had to approach the staff member to come and take my order… drinks came swiftly food not far afterwards.. the quality of food burger was just below average…. Ordered the bbq wings which are battered!. The battered wings where not fully cooked/ barely cooked then lathered (bbq sauce) and served waited awhile as we didn’t get any cutlery or napkins seeing as it was a burger… personally has to go and receive a hand fully of napkin’s from I’m assuming another member of staff…not once did anyone come and check until I acknowledged of other work suttlely that no body had one and ask how the meal went.. gave the server the food and she had left one culprit wings behind… the view to the kitchen was clear leaving the door open.. I seen sous chef and other chef brush off the stituation!. So I carried over the remaining wing still tact For them to examine… Borge the sous chef also supporting chef both of thier mouths dropped and walked away with their heads face sing down… I was greeted with either a manager/assistant or supervisor she didn’t announce who she was.. I got told the wings have been compt what more do you want…. I wish I expressed a perfectly cooked patty.. abhtger byn to fit the over cooked patty… oh yeah not to be served raw batter for the bqq wings!. "We visited friends who were staying in LittleTarrington and they booked the Crown and Anchor for us to have lunch. A friendly welcome was offered by the staff and we ordered drinks and were shown to our table. The Sunday lunch menu offered 4 starters and 4 main courses with a vegetarian option. Our wives both had Roast Turkey, whilst we men both had the Beef (served medium rare),all arrived with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoe's,carrot's and parsnips, whilst the ladies also had homemade sausage meat stuffing to accompany the turkey, and separate dishes of cauliflower cheese,brocolli and cabbage were delivered as sides. An extra jug of gravy was requested and duly delivered along with horseradish and cranberry sauce. All were polished off and empty plates the order of the day. For dessert 3 of us had apple crumble and custard and 1 of us ate ETON MESS sundae. With a couple of bottles of DOOM BAR 0% alcohol,1/2 lager and a J20 the bill came to a reasonable (inc drinks) about £110. A lovely way to spend an hour or so in a nice country pub, with nice food and genial hosts. We are all hoping to return very soon."

"As always a treat to visit Chilled morning drinks and food, little card game with my son and great but relaxed service. Never feel hassled or rushed. Had the beetroot borini, was beautiful and the boy fancied a hot chocolate and cake which he demolished. Thanks Trinity Kid-friendliness: Luke is always made to feel hugely welcome, and when our daughter is also present nobody bays an eye lid at a 2 year and her needs Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The “beef three ways” was beautifully presented on a wooden platter. The steak was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The cylinder of compressed pulled beef cheek was just as delicious and coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, providing a delightful textural contrast. The little pot of baby onions and slow-cooked beef was absolutely divine, rich and buttery. The chips were the best I have ever tasted, surpassing even those at Ynyshir. Our waitress, Evelyn-May, was a true delight. She handled the lighthearted banter from two older gentlemen with ease and made us feel welcome and cared for. We couldn’t help but admire her hair! I’m already planning a second visit, despite the long journey from Northern Ireland, so my wife can experience this wonderful little restaurant. All I ask is that Ed can promise to prepare the same dish to the same high standard."
