"At first I noticed the pastries from the window and they looked delicious. I came in, looked around and was very pleased with what I saw. Very nice decoration (I specially loved the ceiling lamps), one high table and one regular table (seating for at least 8 people). The wide variety of bread and pastries was impressive. Cold drinks and fresh coffee available (No decaf though..) I had a "Javara" pastry with a cafe loungo, and it was sooo good (the pastry, the coffee was alright.) The lady was extremely nice, she gave me two mini pastries as a gift. As I enjoyded my treat seating down I could see that she was actually very nice to everyone. She chatted a few of her costumers whom I realized were regulars that she apparently knew well enough. On a bilboard I saw that you can have a big breakfast for 7.50 euros, including orange juice, coffee, 2 vienoisseries (croissant/pain au chocolat, that kind of thing), and all the bread you want with butter and jello. Never saw that in Paris before...There are trays with pieces of different breads for you to taste, so I went ahead and tried them all. I ended up buying a cocoa bread and another one with raisins and berries. They also have all kinds of tarts and cakes, and some kind of pizza/focaccia that looked just delicious. I'll definetely try one of those next time. There was a lunch menu for something like 7 - 8 euros with pizza/focaccia, cold drink and coffee. The prices were normal for Paris - good pastries are not cheap - I paid 4.50 euros for the Javara, the coffee was average and the bread was more expensive than one baguette of course, but it's a special kind of bread.I found out they have quite a few boutiques around Paris and even in Japan. Next time I walk by one, I'm stepping right in. I know I won't be dissapointed."
