"The Villa turned out to be an unexpected surprise. It's co-located with the Mercure hotel in Saint Cloud, and many locals frequent the establishment. It has some of the best traditional French cuisine around. Dinner isn't served until 7:30 pm, but I dined there two evenings during my trip. The maitr'de serves double duty as the only server, so it can be a bit slow when it gets busy. Set aside at least two hours for dinner and enjoy the experience. It also happens to serve the breakfast for hotel guests. It's pretty much the same every day but includes a wide variety of foods to suit many pallets and diet needs. It includes eggs (poached and scrambled), bacon, sausage, pancakes and crepes. There's an assortment of fruits, cheeses, cold cuts and three cold cereals with numerous toppings available. They also have yogurt, five or six different breads and pastries and multiple chilled juices and hot coffee. The dinner menu is limited to whatever the chef has concocted for the day. There's usually a meat and a fish and vegetable offering. The first evening I started with a salad of simple dressed greens and a piece of toasted multigrain bread topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, roasted tomatoes, thin slices of apple and tangerine. An unusual but surprisingly tasty combination. The main dish was roasted lamb served with perfectly fried pomme frittes. The lamb was a little on the tough side, but tasty and well presented. At the suggestion of the waiter, I paired the meal with a 2017 Minervois called Riussanelle. The coffee and current notes went very well with the dinner, and was so good I enjoyed it with my meal the second evening as well. That included vegetable egg rolls, roasted vegetables and a cut of lean steak that was quite tough by American standards. The dessert was a pastry with custard and a slice fig. Apparently the chef was feeling generous and creative because the waiter walked out at least two other complimentary desserts for every table that evening. Why go out for good food when it's right in front of you. I will definitely return here again."

"This gastronomique restaurant within 15 min reach from Chattelet-Les-Halles (RER A a Rueil Malmaison) was a true and pleasant experience both in terms of the quality of la cuisine and professional, top standard and pleasant service.Espeially due to difficult timing (Friday, 30th of December). The tastes of India were one of the best I have had in years now. The menu comprises a highly recommended section de la cuisine from les Antilles (unfortunatelly the respective Chef has left for holidays in August and is still not back :-D). I will be certainly returning there both for dejeuners and dinners."

"It is a relatively new neighbourhood sushi restaurant and at a reasonable price. It may be the best sushi of verses but it does not deserve five stars. My miso soup was adequate but without distinction. algae salad was a little too green for comfort (artificial food colour?). the shrimp tempura was slightly covered but clearly prepared earlier. coconut ice rather pleasant. the two main problems here are first that the menu is overloaded with salmon selections. . . tuna, white fish, etc. make only symbolic appearances. Secondly, sushi are prepared in advance and therefore do not transmit the necessary freshness. If the restaurant was full, I could understand the need for a thorough preparation but it was almost empty during my visit at the beginning of the evening and my sushi order arrived at my table a little too fast. So, if you go, insist that your sushi be coolly cut off. I may be a little hard here because the quality was pretty good but, with some additional efforts, this restaurant could do much better."

"the restaurant of the butcher welcomes you in a warm atmosphere type bistrot in the center city of nanterre. to relax and decompress, the tea lounge offers warm drinks and home cocktails in a lounge environment at level-1. in the meat bar, are served haalal bovine meat, selected with care and cooked with charcoal grill for a barbecue taste. the taste of the meat is preserved without the inconvenience of this type of cooking. all our products are fresh and smells a delight in the mouth. The card is renewed at the pace of the seasons and following the wishes of the chef. special meals are offered (end of year, end of Ramadan). culinaryly speaking, at the top, a carpaccio simply delicious, a foie gras, very good too, for what is dishes, there is a wide choice of dishes of the day or to the card, for my part the meat is a real delight ( piece of the extra tender butcher as well as the beef coast of 1kg), the dauphinois gratin and the homemade fries to taste absolutely, for me more room for dessert but otherwise short to test and redo, really it is worth"
