"On our recent visit to Madrid, we found ourselves in the Salamanca neighborhood and decided to try Martinete based on how it looked from the outside, which is beautiful. The service was good, and the food was certainly creative, though I wouldn’t say that any of us were blown away by the dishes we shared. I have a very adventurous palate, and although I liked some of these dishes, none were memorable."

We started with a wine tasting. Very well build up in terms of body. Good explanation with passion. Then we had dinner. We started with some tapas, very tasty. As main course I had the salmon. Perfect from cuisson en well spiced.

We wanted to have a late lunch the 4 of us after a shopping day in Madrid. Staff was very welcoming. Apologized not to be able to serve the normal menu after 4:00 pm. Served food was of excellent quality. Burrata , hamburger... were great. Deserts very much recommended. Restaurant looks a bit old and needs some works specially in the basement rest rooms. Despite that we greatly enjoyed it
