"The menu at this restaurant is excellent, with a great selection of beer, pilsner, wine, and desserts that were enjoyed by everyone in our extended family. Parking is available on the street, and there is enough room for kids to mingle with family members. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible from the street to the bar area and dining area. The average price per person is between £30-£40. The food was exceptional and we would highly recommend it to others."

"I have been to the Horseshoe many times over the past 15 or so years, and it is always cosy and the staff hospitable. I last went in November to celebrate my husband's birthday with his family, and it was amazing. The pub had changed hands since I last visited, and it was just as cosy and wonderful. It was one of the first cold days in November when we visited, so the fire was a welcome sight. The food was delicious, and the staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive to us throughout our time there. Thank you, and we will definitely be visiting again soon! P.S. Try the French onion soup (if on the menu). It was delicious.. Dietary restrictions: I have a severe nut allergy, and the staff member who took our order checked and double-checked the food I had ordered to make sure that there were no nut traces, etc. I was very grateful, and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling anxious about having an allergic reaction because of said staff members' thoroughness. Thank you."

"We were a table of 15 which included a toddler and a baby in a high chair all meeting at the Swan Inn for our family Christmas Sunday lunch our experience right from booking our lunch, pre booking menus prior to the event and being looked after at the restaurant were so straightforward, staff were so accommodating and lovely (and patient!)with us all at what is definitely the most hectic time of the year in catering a big thank you too to the kitchen staff who produced great food and enjoyed by us all!"

"Visited the Horseshoe for the first time for a get together with old friends over a bite to eat, and had a very pleasant evening. There was a decent selection of ales on tap including Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Hawkstone IPA, Tring Brewery mild, I had the cod chips for my meal and it was excellent, a lovely piece of cod perfectly cooked served with very tasty minty peas. Superb. I think everyone else was pleased with their food, especially those who ordered the rack of ribs. The whole pub has stone/tiled flooring, and the decor is a little spartan, these combined don't help with acoustics, so I can see that at times some may find it a little noisy. Overall a decent village pub that does some great food. Would happily return"

"Lovely pub m/hotel with friendly locals and very helpful and attentive staff. Food menu is excellent and varied with something for everyone. I had the chicken and ham pie and the portion was large and delicious. The room we had was average with a soft and quite uncomfortable mattress and a shower that was not the best. Also the floor creaked a lot when the people above us walked around so get a top floor room if you can. Overall I’d recommend this place."
