"Ordered last night for collection, used the website, which provided 10% off, email said that order would be 60 minutes, received a phone call saying it could be done sooner, which is excellent customer service in my opinion! Food was piping hot, extremely tasty too, we ordered mixed kebab, chicken chat, onion bajis, chicken tikka masala, chicken moglai, 2 naans, poppadoms and rice and came to under £40. Will definitely be ordering again"

Won a Facebook competition for a meal for two. The gentleman on the phone who took my order was very friendly. Food was prompt and delicious. The chilli chicken masala was very hot- just how I like it!!

Excellent service with a friendly staff. The chicken tikka masala was not only delicious but also vibrant in color. The only thing we felt was lacking in our meal was a bit more chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes and found ourselves wishing we had ordered even more. As for parking, there are limited spots available since it's a small main street area. We ordered takeout for dinner.

Always 10/10 I’ve know the guys at Meghan for years now, they are so accommodating and the food is just the best, they even make me special extra hot curries to see me through the end of my pregnancies. Always so friendly and happy to have a chat. Wouldn’t get my chicken tikka masala from anywhere else, delivery is always prompt and food is always hot on arrival. Can’t thank them enough for their top food and top service x

"Myself and three relatives recently visited The First and Last Bistro in Ermington on two occasions over a seven day period. The first visit was for Sunday lunch and the second for an evening meal. On both visits the food and drink were very tasty and beautifully presented in smart surroundings. This is a family business run by skilled and committed people who clearly know what they are doing. We will definitely visit again when we are next in the area."

"Today my husband and I had lunch at the Ship Inn. Friendly welcome, excellent service and delicious food. We both had liver parfait to start, really tasty with Melba toast. Hubby then had Belly Pork with crackling and I had Sole with a tasty sauce. Both were perfectly cooked. We were both full but decided we needed to try a dessert, so we shared a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream with was yummy. We will definitely be back."

"Good stop off if visiting Dartmoor. Nicely decorated and room was spacious. Can bring dogs. Sleep quality ok, we were in a room by the gravel car park so with window open (as it was hot you can get disturbed by car noise plus privacy not great. Menu was ok but not a massive choice. If you have a dog with you, you need to eat in bar area (although breakfast you can take dog in to dining room ‍ Seating was a little uncomfortable here, as it’s window benches which aren’t ideal when eating a meal. Breakfast very good and served by really friendly guy. If bringing a dog there is a good walk 5 minutes away, but no grass area near pub or outside room for dog to be let out in the night if needed! Only thing to point out is CHECK YOUR BILL before leaving!! Annoyingly we trusted that we had been charged for what we had ordered we could see the bar lady tap in to the computer when we ordered drinks, but the bill showed a different drinks order. We had 1 wine and 2 beers but it was only after we had left and looked at bill and we had been charged for 3 beers and 2 wines!!"

"I went to this restaurant for a steak and chips with a beer. The beer was good as usual, and the steak was tasty. However, the chips were hard. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and they gave me a new portion of chips, which were still hard in the middle. I raised this concern again, but was told by the barman that chips are just chips. I was disappointed as I believe chips should be soft in the middle. The issue was not resolved, and I felt like I had paid for a steak without proper chips. Despite this, I have mostly had good experiences here in the past, so I am giving this place 3 stars. It's a shame that they seemed to have forgotten about the customer in this instance."
