"Being our third time dining at the chef's table, it's a truly fantastic experience. Watching the chef's prepare and present your meals is a real joy. Every dish is explained by the head chef, to which you're able to accompany with a wine pairing. Although its a bit more expensive than you're standard restaurants, it does feel like good value for money. There are other options such as a shortened chef's table, or a pick off the menu. It's a true treat of a dinning experience, with nothing of this calibre around. Would highly recommend to all !! "if they want a pretentious pub where they need a dictionary to decrypt the menu and pinzette to eat them. they don't come here. if they are a warm friendly, well-defy country pub with a menu of traditional homemade food (to reasonable trips) and well-maintained ale, then this is the place large garden for summer days and beautiful open fire for the cold winter months. recently renovated on a high standard looking slim and modern while the country pub feel. great owners and employees and an ecclesiastical mix of natives who interact amd make them welcome. if they want to eat... Book or be ready to wait as this place is packed, but eating is worth it! I was here for 17 years and have seen the evolution first hand of what was a good pub, to what is now an excellent country pub that serves food. try it, they will not be disappointed!"

"We went for their weekend 'Colonial Thali ' brunch. The restaurant is very fancy with a lovely easthetic, rather formal. We were greeted warmly at the door. Service was incredibly slow, despite us and one other table being the only ones present. After a 25 minute wait for 2 dishes, the Thali platters came which had a variety of 'Indian ' style dishes. The food was just fine, you get quite a lot for your money. However the food was rather bland for Indian food unfortunately, lacking spices, heat and seasoning. The waiter explained it was 'Anglo ' Indian food, so adapted for the local customers, which was rather a shame. We also ordered two 'lattes ' which were from a machine in restaurant were very bad quality, hardly any coffee taste, just tasted of piping hot skimmed milk. Overall, glad we tried something new. It is good value for money, however we won 't be returning, purely due to the slow service, over formal atmosphere and muted flavours of Indian dishes."

"I have been visiting this lovely little pub for two years, and have always found the food and atmosphere to be five star. Guy and Abi always go out of their way to help, but they excelled themselves during this last visit, when we held a reception after the funeral of a family member. Thank you!!"

"Was having a lazy Sunday afternoon, watching the football. Decided to have a pizza, so ordered online. Not the easiest to order online, but we got there. No tracking information, but a standard 60mins delivery window was given. I ordered the chicken and bacon BBQ pizza. The listing mentioned that there would be olives; none were present on the pizza. That said, there were generous toppings on the pizza and the bacon with BBQ sauce really did hit the spot. It’s a shame that there was no tracking or accurate updates on the delivery of the pizza. I was, however, pleasantly surprised when the pizza arrived after only 30mins and still hot!"
