It's really good. Fish is extremely good. Would recommend visiting this place. World's best place ever

Twice in last week ive ordered from them. Always forget half your order the guy on phone is digusting has no manner and is rude. Food cold, chips soggy. Disgusting with there service

I ordered option 5 from the menu, which was the perfect late-night meal. It was budget-friendly and satisfying when I was feeling hungry. The chicken burger came with a generous portion of chips.

Worst food ever brought as aways walk past and seen its been open for year so I thought they must be doing something Wright ! How wrong was I never again so greasy and disgusting staff seemed rude and lazy

I have been going to this Mr Cod for many on and off for many years. Never had a bad experiance . Chips always good ,chicken very tasty and the fish excelant when cooked fresh. I have noticed how ever it is not that cheap anymore .

Just bought 2 cod chips from Mr Cod on the Oxford Road but really not very nice, the cod was mushy and not white flaky and the batter pale and not crispy, really not very nice, sorry but I would go here again, the staff were pleasant enough.

this is my local takeaway, love the chips, just go past the takeaway they can't stop and eat! I tend to go for the masala fish meal, huh dinner, chicken burger meal or the 2 mini chicken burger meal. in the past, the takeaway salat would deliver with the meal, but that remained. also the free drink etc. especially after 60 issues and regular. the former owner would do that. I would give me 3 stars, but as his local take and I know that eating is good, sharing and miss, depending on who serves, but others than eating is great!

In Reading, it seems like there's a Mr Cod on every corner, but who knows if that's true? Not that it matters to me - all I care about is satisfying my craving for chicken, and Mr Cod always delivers. They serve up delicious fried chicken, crispy chips, and refreshing fizzy drinks with the efficiency you'd expect. Despite the limited communication behind masks and Perspex, the staff handle it all with grace. It's hard to strike up a conversation with other customers, who are too absorbed in their phones, but that's just the way things are these days.
