"We were people and had pizzas, pasta, fish and pork, and ice cream for desert. The pizzas were dry, the pasta OK, the pork dish not good, and the fish OK. The ice cream very basic as well, even if nicely presented. Average food...in all. We had We were people and had to chase tables, chairs, space by ourselves. Not much help from the personnel. We had a nice waiter but some other waitresses were not specifically nice. Long waiting times, too, I have to admit it was busy at the time."

"The carvings were great and delicious! The service is perfect! Prices are reasonable. The restaurant had opened at noon from 12 a.m. There is a wide selection of carvings. Only isolated carvings are outside on the map I did not find on the menu. You don't have much space, but enough!"

"we are often on short vacation in brown, which unfortunately does not have many culinary highlights. If you are looking for something special next to the mainstream tourism cuisine, the small one is exactly the right one. small map with fresh, excellent oriented, nice service and beautiful ambiente with quiet thoughtrace. our highlights - kalbsmedaillons and the lachsduett as well as the imiserschmarrn- rarely ate such a light and at the same time tasty smarrn!"

"the opportunity to eat as a vegan is limited in the resin area, but we had a good experience with jaspers a few years back, then as a vegetarian, so we are happy to eat here again. their website and Facebook account both explained that due to the kovid they are not open, but offered to take away and even home delivery. we have planned a long hike, excited that we did not have to cook ourselves (as so few restaurants here). we come into the closed restaurant that has only taken out to find out that the restaurant is full. not 4 tables arranged around 1.5 meters, not all tables, all full (outside out from any ground). Surprisingly, we tried to order something we had planned. The decisions are already so limited. they have the beyond burger, but they need to specify that they do not want to be soaking apart from ketchup (all is not vegan), also one byhalat requires them to determine that they are vegan like any dressing they have is not-vegan. again, not great, but not many other options. So, ready to go, we are rejected on short and rude wise. they were busy for us, we should have made a reservation (unless it was "not mentioned where this was the case), we can try again tomorrow. many thanks for their understanding in a ton that would have made even severus snape 's oat milk curdle. we were left on the curse, simply disappointed and worsened that someone treated us so unfairly as if we were the inappropriate people. what a farewell."

"One of the reasons we return to the Harz and always Braunlage is that it is only an hours drive away to get good air and also to visit our favourite restaurant Jaspers. Again we stopped for a week and ate there 5 times !!! The 1 day we did not eat was because it was closed and the other we overslept ! As usual the food was cooked to perfection . Christian and team Jasper and double trouble always welcome us with a smile and address us by our first names which we appreciate as we are treated like friends and not just as paying guests like many restaurants. They even have time for a small chat although they are always busy and full."
