"The actual name of this Restaurant is: "Pastis Nepomuk" and they have a large outside seating area (sunny most of the day, particularly in the afternoon), located right next to an area of water, called the "Groov". While surprised by a patch of warm weather, the shorthanded staff did a great job managing the suddenly appearing masses, all of which wanted some of the homemade waffles or ice cream and coffee/cappuccino's. We were told, that this place changed owners and you can tell the desire to please. This is a nice stop when biking or hiking along the Rhine river - there is actually an ferry (bicycles and pedestrians only) right there across the river, so you can have a really nice walk from Cologne on one side of the river and return on the other. I would give this a try on a warm, sunny day."

Ich war in der kalten Jahreszeit dort und konnte daher nicht den schönen Außenbereich benutzen. Drinnen roch muffig, das Kölsch war sauer (weil wir wohl die einzigen Gäste seit Tagen waren). Am negativen Gesamteindruck konnte der brauchbare Flammkuchen aber nichts mehr ändern.

Gut geeignete Location für einen Einkehrschwung nach einer Wanderung oder Radtour am Rhein entlang mit Blick von der großen Terrasse auf die Zündorfer Groov. Interessantes Medley aus Speisen französischer, deutscher und afrikanischer Ausrichtung. Einladende Cocktails. Freundlicher Service. Bei gutem Wetter und am Wochenende sehr frequentiert.

Ideal, um an einem warmen Sommertag (-abend), mit einem Cocktail und einem Flammkuchen, die Aussicht auf die Porzer Groov zu genießen.Die Cocktails (auch alkoholfrei) sind sehr erfrischend.Die Auswahl an Flammkuchen, Waffeln und Crepes ist zwar überschaubar, dafür ist aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.Bei schönem Wetter ist eine Tischreservierung zu empfehlen.

Vll. hätten wir auch Flammkuchen essen sollen, denn die sahen tatsächlich gut aus. Wir hatten Salat bestellt für fast 10€, der mit paar Tomaten und paar Gurkenscheiben samt Schale bestückt war. Das Hähnchen dazu war nur trocken, was ja mal passieren kann, aber die Größe und Lieblosigkeit des Salates stellen den Preis mehr als in Frage. Der Aperol war total süß und hat das ganze Disaster nur noch abgerundet. Die total freundliche Bedienung war das einzig gute an diesem Laden. Auch die Damentoilette war nicht zu benutzen und man musste sich an einem sonnigen und gut besuchten Tag die Toilette mit den Männern teilen.
