Had the chance of going there with a group of native Chinese and boy was it a feast! I think I will make this one of my official Chinese canteen when in Frankfurt.

Directly across from Frankfurt main station, the "New World" chinese lunch buffet was really very good. The wide selection, ensured that is was impossible to try every dish. However the duck and shrimp certainly hit the spot. All this and a cola for 11 Euros,...More

We ate here twice for dinner and the food was excellent and well priced (rice was free!). My wife cant eat anything with pepper or spices (due to a medical condition) and we came here after another restaurant nearby weren't interested in cooking without pepper etc. New World Chinese went out of there way to cook the food as we wanted it and it was great.

We have gone there a few times for dimsum...never the buffet. A pretty wide variety including different kinds of congee, Chinese vegetables, chicken fried rice with salty fish (this was a special request but they made it), your basic dimsum (cha siu bao, lo bah go, ha gaw), tripe...I can keep going. Have been to this restaurant several times and have always found the food and service to be excellent. VERY tastefully decorated and the prices are really competitive. Started with soups and mixed starters before moving on to main courses. The duck with asparagus is particularly good. We were even served some complimentary Chinese Liquor when we asked for the bill. Fast and friendly, good value and in a very convenient location.

The location is convenient to the old city and other areas of downtown Frankfurt. Althoug the food was a disappointment; my guess is much of the meat was previously frozen, the service was quite good and the restaurant also offers nice views of a busy circle near the train station. It's possible we didn't order the best the house had to offer, because there were many Chinese patrons who, presumably, liked the food. Next time, we will ask them what to order!!

As another reviewer stated, the location does not match the food. There was nothing at all wrong with the food, but it was not exceptional, while the restaurant enjoys a great location, directly opposite the main station, surrounded by hotels of all budgets. Nice light, non-greasy Chicken Chow Mein and a large portion of duck, with starters and drinks cost us under thirty euro. It's pretty good value. Interesting decor inside.
