"Wir sind des Öfteren schon am New Saigon vorbeigelaufen und es sah von außen immer ziemlich voll aus, was kein schlechtes Zeichen ist. So haben wollten wir es ebenfalls mal austesten und sind in der Mittagspause mal asiatisch essen gegangen.Das New Saigon macht einen modernen und gradlinigen Eindruck, eher funktional als gemütlich. In der Mitte ist eine große Theke an der man sein Essen bestellt und auch abholen kann. Man kriegt wie bei Vapiano ein kleines Gerät was aufleuchtet, wenn das Essen abholbereit ist. Es gab für uns Bratreis und Bratnudeln mit Hühnchen, einen Papaya-Salat und eine Suppe. Das Essen war relativ zügig fertig und wir mussten unsere Mittagspause nicht mit Warten vergeuden. Auf den Tischen stehen wie bei den meisten Asiaten noch Sambal Oelek und Sojasauce um sein Essen ein wenig nachzuwürzen. Mein Bratreis sah auf den ersten Blick schonmal ganz gut aus: Reis, Eier, Gemüse und Fleisch eben. Auch geschmacklich war der Bratreis lecker und teils noch schön knusprig. Das Fleisch war zart und das Gemüse noch knackig. Ein bisschen hat der Pfiff gefehlt, das konnte ich aber durch ein wenig nachwürzen kompensieren. Es war jetzt kein Highlight der asiatischen Küche, aber für den Preis von 6,90€ völlig in Ordnung. Ich würde das New Saigon genau wie das Vapiano eher in Richtung bessere Systemgastronomie als Restaurant einordnen und dafür wars gut. Fazit: Wer in der Gegend Lust auf schnelle asiatische Küche hat ist im New Saigon richtig aufgehoben. Es ist kein kulinarisches Highlight, aber man kriegt hier ein gutes PLV und eignet sich gut für den "Alltag". Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen um auch mal die anderen Gerichte zu probieren, vielleicht überzeugen die mich zu mehr Sternen, aber bis dato bleibts bei soliden 3 Sternen!"

Bei dem New Saigon handelt es sich um ein Asiatisches Schnellrestaurant gehobener Klasse, mit offener Küche. Ich bin seit mehr als 7 Jahren treuer Kunde. Die Qualität hat in diesem langen Zeitraum keineswegs nachgelassen. Ich gehe immer noch gerne in regelmäßigen Abständen dort essen.Hier stimmen Preise und Qualität!

Although the restaurant is much larger than I expected, the choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes is very limited: 2 of 3 vegetarian dresses are vegan, but they are not labeled as such (fresh tofu and soi sam). the soi sam was mainly pak choi and carrots with a few soy sprouts and a rather small part tear. the erdnuss sauce was creamy, but the whole dish lacked salt and I missed a little more sort of sweet in it. it is self service and quite cheap, but I will not go back there.

The restaurant is small but cute inside. I've tried a spicy shrimp dish, a red curry, and sushi from here and it was all quite tasty. The lady behind the counter is nice and the service has been quick each time I've been there. The...prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I'm not sure why its called new Saigon and specializes in Thai food and has some Japanese items like sushi but, I'm also not an expert in Asian food or geography and wouldn't want to ask someone there

The system of ordering reminds me of McDonald's restaurants. You order at the counter and in return for cash get the receipt with the number of the order. Then, calming down your hungry stomach, you wait with a thrill for your number showing on the...monitor. The food they serve is really delicious and fresh. Not to mention the meals and drinks with fruits they are for sure fresh, because you can see the glass fridge full of its ingridients. The portions are slightly too big, but prices are adequate to what you get. The selection of meals is really wide, so everyone should find something for his taste

As much as I love the food in Germany, it does get a bit heavy after a while.
