"Spanish meets borkum. we have a table reserved and when we arrived the young waiter seemed a little stressed. he asked us to the table. the ambiente was invited. we quickly got the card and ordered it. first came the drinks, 0.2 cola, was of course empty before eating there. brot Basket and the cold tapas plate came quite fast. unfortunately we had to wait a little longer for the warm food. we are used to spanish and also to our stem spanier something andres. the food was delicious, except the datteln, because I lacked the honey and therefore they were unfortunately very dry a second waiter, who was very engaged, clearly lifted our initial skepsis compared to the service. all in all a good approach, but really still worthy of improvement. the 2nd card that came after eating offered desserts of Spanish art and various alcoholic drinks. we couldn't pass the churros. the tasted like from oma from spania! for fair 3 stars. many greetings"

"the crab-framed soup and the borcumer fish soup we enjoyed as an appetizer. both suppen with plenty of insert something with salt and pepper after seasoned to fully match the personal taste. (after seasoning is of course always better than getting too sharp or too salty soup). as main court there were sea salmon fillet milanese and fish plate claps. the sea salmon fillet was served with a magnificent sauce and a very lush portion of tasty noodles. to plentiful fish plate there were crispy bratkartoffeln. all corresponded to our specifications. we also enjoyed the half-dry cores. I would like to recommend the insulaner. I hope that the quality will continue to be preserved in the same way in the future. P.S.: the waiter who served us on 23.07.2017 was discreet, friendly and professional. (a few years ago, there were waiters with a grumpy potty affin touch, which were a bit intrusive. the restaurant was also called at that time house at the sea or so similar, perhaps also with another owner/management.) some days later we tried the steaks. we were also very satisfied with these things."

"we've eaten in the old borcum today. one boasts among other things for his Dry-Aged steaks.
