"Unfortunately, our dining experience was quite disappointing. One positive aspect was that the restaurant does offer a vegan option for each course, clearly marked on the menu. We opted for the £22 2-course Sunday lunch menu, but while the meat dishes were hearty and came with plenty of vegetables, the vegan option was extremely small and lacking in protein. It consisted of a small tomato filled with couscous, a stem of broccoli, and a small potato rosti. We finished our plates in under 2 minutes and had to rely on our dining companions to share their non-vegan side dishes. The menu gave the impression that the main course was sufficient, with no additional sides available to order. By the time we got home, we were still hungry and had to eat a second lunch. The dessert was also small and lacked flavor besides being overly sweet. The service was acceptable, although somewhat abrupt and rushed. Overall, none of us would consider returning to this restaurant in the future."

who knew that could taste good! we had the 6 curs vegan menu with the wine pairing and absolutely loved everything. the atmosphere, the service, the eating, everything was amazing.

I had the vegan tasting menu accompanied by gin pairing. the pairing was really well balanced in taste. I would say that the dishes could have had a more complex, i.e. with a crisp and other taste. they looked out and melt incomparable to the meat dishes.

a great place to start my weekend. large locally produced products cooked and presented in genuine professional north bar style. I had garnished the tempura, with the mönch **** to follow were both absolutely divine. the aromen let my taste buds dance! Of course there was no place for gloomy, but I could sneak in a skrumbling, sticky pudding. team and service are always exceptional. it is as if they are served in the comfort of their own home.

Myself and my partner came for the Tasting Menu at the weekend, myself choosing the vegan option. I have read mixed reviews so was not sure what I was expecting. But as soon as I tasted the first course, it was delicious and just got better as each course came. All the dishes was amazing and my favourite dish was the Vegetable Garden with almond mousse. My partner loved all the dishes too with him choosing pairing wines and I chose gin... which they have their own gin! My partner does not usually eat vegan food and even he said he would choose to try this option next time. Highly recommend to anyone!

return to leicester's best culinary experience at this weekend. what an evening amazing. it is hard to choose a favorite, as they were all amazing, errorless and great on aromen were amazingly presented. the rabbit bon bon was so juicy and packed with taste and lungs was perfectly cooked. game and foie gras terrine super on taste and texture. fish curs next skalopps muscles clean and beautifully presented and taste. and then the most important local bradgate park venison. amazing boiled to perfection. dessert was too well balanced. all in all, they can suspect it was amazing and a great value taste experience. chef joe and the team are as right as ever, this current taster is one must. thank...
