Fish and chips today was as good as anywhere. Juicy mouthfuls of fresh fish, coated in a crispy crunchy tasty batter. Accompanying veg very suitable... thank you everyone involved!

The fish and chips were soaked in grease, making it difficult to eat. I only managed to take three bites before giving up on my meal. The cutlery was dirty, and I had to search for a clean knife and fork. There was no one available to complain to about the poor experience.

We came for a brief visit because we were told that it had been refurbished and was much better than before. We were disappointed because in our opinion it was worse if anything and the prices were more than similar establishments in the south east area. Just another average cafe.

Woefully slow, and staffed mostly by youngsters who don't seem to care much. Like many people there, we waited far too long for a simple order. Seems to me like they've made the self-service process nice and simple for themselves at the expense of customer service. Must try harder.

Good garden centre environment but waited 40 minutes for sandwiches even though customer who’d been infront of us when paying got his quickly) and then got them after prompting staff. Toastie was cold, BLT seemed to be made from precooked bacon slices? which looked anaemic as though they hadn’t seen a grill or pan, with not a sign of brown or crispiness to the fat.

We were welcomed by a friendly woman who guided us through the ordering process and assisted us in finding a seat. The ordering process was simple and there always seemed to be staff available when needed. They even checked in on us during our meal and engaged in conversation. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had visited the restaurant before the renovation and found it chaotic, but the improvements made after the revamp were remarkable. The restaurant now has a bright and airy atmosphere, the staff were efficient, and the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

My family took me here for a birthday celebration lunch. Would it be cramped and seething with children? I was very pleasantly surprised. It is huge, and the tables are spaced well apart. It was very busy, and we had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared, but once seated, it was a lovely experience. The method of ordering and paying is brilliant; either using a QR code or, for dinosaurs like me, face to face at a counter. The food was brought to us very quickly and was plentiful and delicious. The staff were all smiling and pleasant in attitude, and the whole experience was a joy.

Terribly poor all round. We were sat at a wobbly table, which I eventually fixed by wedging a menu underneath. We ordered 2 breakfasts and tea for 2 at over £20 something, at the touch screen thing... After waiting 20 mins we asked politely for an order up date. They were running behind..We asked for our tea,then to at least have something. Tea arrived and was awful, cheap muck like dishwater. After asking again for our order after another 20 minutes(and a visit to the counter to demand a free drink), our breakfasts finally arrived ,minus 1 toast and 2 butter.We had waited near on 50 minutes. The food was anemic and not too hot...poor quality. Never again .Don't bother.

Today for lunch, I ordered two jacket potatoes with Bolognese and two pots of tea at a cost of £21.75. Each pot of tea was £2.25, with one being decaffeinated, and an additional 25p for soy milk. The jacket potatoes were priced at £8.50 each, which I found to be a bit expensive. There are three methods for ordering: through the restaurant's app, in person at the counter, or using a touch screen terminal. I opted for the terminal when the app was not working. The food was served lukewarm, and despite requesting it to be heated up, it only came back slightly warmer. I would not recommend ordering any hot food from this restaurant. Additionally, the tea was not very strong in flavor.
