God bayersk mat med utsikt til den berømte hoppbakken. Historisk, sportslig grunn som fremdeles er aktuell. Et sted hvor nordmenn har satt sitt preg.

Visited for late lunch after visit to Olympic Stadium and Partnachklamm. Weather great, very sunny, sat outside with excellent view of ski jumps. Service ok, food good. Visualizza piatti

we decided take a break after visiting Partnachklamm and entered to this restaurant located at Sky Station. Great view, quite atmosphere, good service, good coffee and food.

We stopped in for a snack before our tour of the ski stadium. We had pretzels and beer - best pretzels we had on our trip! Wish we could have come for breakfast, the sausage, pretzel and beer combo looked great!

Auf der Sonnen Terasse lässt es sich schon aushalten. Wir waren nur für einen Kaffee und Kuchen dort. Für eine Touristenattraktion (Schanze) waren die Preise moderat und die Kuchenstücke groß. Leider wwar die Creme der Torten zu fest und hat ein wenig künstlich geschmeckt. Visualizza piatti

I have come here regularly with family when doing one of the attraction in the area (Partnachklamm, flying fox, tobaggoning). You get the typical food for the area including options for kids and vegetarians. The cake and tart selection is very good. The service though can be a bit unfriendly at times, though. Nothing wrong, though when passing by.

It seemed like a good place to warm up on a cold wet Sunday afternoon with bowls of hot soup. The asparagus and potato soups were delicious but it took the best part of ONE HOUR to ladle out and serve our order. So much for German efficiency and dread to think what the delay would be if outside terrace is full. Only consolation was we had a good view of the ski-jumps while we waited.

Nach einer ausgiebigen Wanderung sind wir mit Freunden eingekehrt, um uns mit einem guten Essen zu belohnen. Und was soll ich sagen... Wir hätten keine bessere Wahl treffen können. Das Helle frisch gezapft und kühl, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen, bei mir waren es Schweinemedaillons mit frischen Pilzen und selbstgemachten Käsespätzle, heiß und eine ausgiebige Portion. Den anschließenden Kaiserschmarren musste ich mir teilen, alleine hätte ich es nicht mehr geschafft. Am Schluss kam noch die Chefin an den Tisch, plauderte entspannt mit uns und brachte noch einen Obstler (super mild) aufs Haus mit. Fazit: wenn wieder Garmisch, dann werden wir auch hier wieder zu Gast sein. Visualizza piatti
