"We arrived at our reserved time and were seated promptly, but it took the staff 20 minutes to come to our table to take any sort of order (drinks or food)! We were not informed that the restaurant does not accept cards, so it was embarrassing when I had to leave the restaurant to go to the cash machine across the street in order to pay the bill. When the bill finally arrived, we were shocked by the price of a pint of Cobra at £8!!! We have always been satisfied with the service at this restaurant in the past, but this was not our best experience."

Great location for those going to the Alhambra theatre. The food and service were both good. A lovely way to begin a fantastic evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.

The food and service was excellent. We wasn’t sure about the spicy hotness of the food and the waiting staff were able to help to choose from the menu. We had 2 small children with us and they enjoyed it. Nothing was to much trouble. The cleaning could have been better in the toilet.

This was a good experience throughout from booking the table to enjoying a unique and well prepared meal. The price was very good overall, perhaps the beer at £4 per glass was a little over-priced by the value of the food more than compensated for this. Overall a great meal and excellent dining experience.

Arrived Friday at 6 pm for pre theatre meal. Area outside front door needs weeding as it looks a mess. Service was not very friendly, menus are well worn, and the dining area is looking tired maybe it's better after dark! The food was ok, but as we were eating off an early bird menu we weren't expecting too much. Sorry to say we won't be rushing back.
