Beautiful place so cosy. The sticky toffee pudding wasn’t that good but nice staff and service.

I had a Caribbean Sipper cocktail made by Niditya which was lovely! Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely too!

the restaurant is very good. I had a Sunday dinner and there was a stroke quartet viper swing. the food is on buffet, but so delicious and good choice. the stafs are as good as invisible, but everywhere you need them with a smile. if they want to feel different for their Sunday dinner, they come here, amusing will be all her.

great place for a relaxed drink and a light meal. the decoration of the place and modern and well illuminated in comparison to many hotel bars, and the personal is excellent, very attentive and professional! for the food we had the vagane mezzenbrett and the smoked salmon. eating was very good and really delicious. overall a good choice.

Both the buffet and a'la carte breakfast dishes were alrighty, not spectacular, but perfectly adequate; what wasn't great is the the waiting staff regardless of whether this was an early visit on a weekday whilst only two or three tables were occupied by patrons, or when the place was buzzing with guests over the weekend you could count on them remaining uninterested and plain incompetent.

simply the best place in edinburgh to drink mainly because of the staff! I talked to mike (the barmanager) about a distillery tour etc. and he was friendly enough to take me through some whiskys and explain what drinks would naturally follow from the previous ones! it was fantastic and he got me on an excellent bottle that I really enjoy now (glen scotia.) then came the real magie! in the next night I came back with my wife and some friends and mike made us a real increbile around with old fashion drinks! my wife doesn't even like old fashoineds, but she loved it. he made a selection of 4 different aromes. highly recommended that they talk to him and let him know what they like, and undoubte...

Bad service but wonderful atmosphere. Food was okay. The service was horrendous, our server didn't ask us for sauces so we ate the fish and chips plain, might think we should've asked but this is an action which a server should know, not befitting a restaurant like this. Our server also handed us the plates instead of placing it down for us, we didn't mind but this also doesn't correspond to what the restaurant is. We also asked for water which wasn't given. I can be more nit picky and say that the cutlery was the wrong way round with the knives on the left and forks on the right, the cutlery was also put in the wrong order where thie bigger ones were on the outside instead of inside.
