Il posto è semplice ma sono tutti molto gentili e l'atmosfera è familiare. Il pesce cucinato sulla brace molto buono . Non abbiamo assaggiato i primi ma la grigliata di pesce era veramente squisita. Il rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.

For 20 euro comes a fish, a squid, a swordfish steak, and two big gamberoni, all perfectly grilled; wine or beer, water, and either coffee or an Amaro. Eating on the quiet street down near the water, charming neighborhood, all was good. Almost no wine list, few desserts, come here for the seafood and the charm.

Siamo venuti perché era così vicino al nostro hotel e eravamo passati davanti molte volte. Come indicato, non è un posto romantico ma è divertente e amichevole. Ce la siamo cavata bene nonostante non parlassimo italiano e abbiamo condiviso un gustoso piatto di frutti di mare con vino (il peggior momento dell'esperienza forse migliore con la birra), pane, ecc ed è stato super economico, sotto i 25 euro. Probabilmente è meglio portare del contante poiché il POS non funzionava e un'altra turista è stata presa alla sprovvista, hanno offerto di portarla al bancomat in macchina ma non si sentiva a suo agio.

Ho cenato qui la sera e ho gustato deliziosi piatti di pesce fresco cucinati alla griglia ai bordi della strada. È il caos nel suo massimo splendore, cibo da strada di Palermo così fresco e gustoso. Non c'è fronzoli e si siede su sedie di plastica in un vicolo fuori dalla strada. Si beve da bicchieri di plastica e si riceve un banchetto di frutti di mare cucinati davanti a te. Il trambusto della vita si svolge davanti a te mentre mangi. Non c'è nulla di elegante o raffinato, solo cibo eccezionale servito da uomini leggermente intimidatori. È un posto che consiglio vivamente per capire come mangiano i siciliani. Non è caro ed è un'esperienza sorprendente.

Abbiamo scelto di pranzare domenica in questo ristorante perché il locale era pieno di famiglie locali (con ristoranti completamente vuoti proprio accanto) e il pesce era grigliato sul marciapiede accanto al ristorante. Il menu è limitato ma ha traduzioni in inglese. Il personale aveva quasi zero competenze in inglese, ma era cordiale ed efficiente. Abbiamo mangiato gamberi alla griglia, calamari e spada, tutti freschi, tra i migliori frutti di mare che abbiamo gustato durante le nostre due settimane in Sicilia. Il locale ha un'atmosfera leggermente frenetica e disordinata (ma non in senso negativo), e potrebbe essere difficile se non si ha competenze in italiano.

Ho provato questo posto per la cena come siamo amanti dei frutti di mare. Ordine dal menu impostato. Tre di noi sono morti qui. Abbiamo avuto quello che dirò è stato un assortimento di frutti di mare per due di noi e cozze pelate per uno. seguito da pasta e cozze per 2 e pasta e gamberi per uno. poi 2 bream di mare cotto sul barbecue che erano assolutamente delizioso. una caraffa di vino bianco mezza caraffa di rosso con 3 Limoncello per finire e bottiglia di acqua. fattura totale €65. Non hanno molto inglese, ma c'è uno del personale che può parlare buon inglese. Abbiamo apprezzato l'esperienza così tanto che siamo tornati due volte di più. I have seen these types of place on previous trips to Palermo but was slightly put off by the appearance but decided to give it a whorl this trip and boy was i surprised. I am always one of those guys who goes to the fresh fish of the day and picks a moderately sized one only to get my bill at the end and find out I've just eaten a 40$ fish which i think is highway robbery. So at this place which is very basic , but with the biggest selection of the fresh catch ever seen anywhere we both had a dozen oysters on the half shell, a lobster, some calamari, tuna and swordfish, half dozen large shrimp plus two sea bass and including a coke and wine our bill was 75$. This no frills trattoria is like an uncut diamond; rough around the edges and easily overlooked. The hidden treasure is great fresh seafood cooked to perfection. In spring summer the seafood is on display outside for passersby to inspect and choose. The barbecues were already smoking when we walked passed at 7pm. At first we were at little intimidated by the burly men around the cooking fire eager for us to choose a fish and sit down at a table in a dead end ally.
