"The most beautiful venue, lovely staff and stunning food. I adore a Sunday Dinner and am super fussy, normally only visiting our 'old faithful '. Decided to have a change today and so glad we did, just stunning! Beautiful pink beef with gorgeous veg and potatoes to compliment. The Chicken burger and fries, equally so. Can 't wait to return, Thank You"

"Visited, based on recommendation from one of its sister pubs (The Bears Paw). Looks very nice from approach and inside and very comfortable seats offered. Menu looked very nice and proved difficult to decide. Starters: I went for the Ox Cheek, which I 've had elewhere and usually proves delicious. Unfortunately, although it turned up promptly and looking nicely presented, it proved to be 75% jelatanous fat, which, of course, is very disappointing given the price of starters alone (photo attached). I know 'fats ' can add to the taste, but this was not what was expected given previous servings. My wife didn 't opt for a starter, but we shared a goats cheese flatbread (also as shown). This was very nice and by no means disappointing. Mains: I went for the 'A la Plancha ' Bacon Joint with marmalade glaze and fried egg. Again, it looked nicely presented and tasted very nice indeed. Just (again) disappointed, by the overly thick layer of jelatanous fat. This could have potentially been made into a cracking, but ended up being an inch thick slab of leftovers. Otherwise, the meal was lovely. The dear wife went for the 'Peruvian marinated Chicken Burger ', served with hand cut fries and a delicious, if not perplexing, green sauce mayonnaise. (I just wish I ordered what she did). Dessert: I went for the ye olde traditional Banoffe Knickerbocker Glory, and the wife had the Elderflower Creme Brulee. Both were very nice and washed down with pleasing drinks. Bill was, as expected, very expensive. Moreso given the disappointing starter and main for myself. A 'discrete ' 7.5% tip is automatically added, so be aware. Yes, the service was great, but if I visit again, I 'll definitely reconsider the options. Aimed a bit more towards the 'la dee daa ' side of Cheshire "

"This is a lovely garden centre! The garden centre itself was very quiet when I visited, just myself and a couple of other customers were wondering around. There seems to be a good choice of plants and flowers to purchase here, and it's a shame that I am a visit to the area because I could do with a garden centre like this near me. The car park was almost full when I arrived (at 10.30am on a Friday) and the vast majority of car owners were in the coffee shop. So I can see that customers would find it almost impossible to find a parking space around the lunch period on any day. So if you're going to visit, you might find it easier to visit earlier or later in the day and avoid the lunch period. Cost me £8.90 for one coffee and a slice of cake, but they were both delicious. When entering the coffee shop, bag yourself a table first and then note the table number before placing your order. Otherwise you'll need to do this and you'll lose your place in the queue. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, even if just for a coffee."

"2 test sessions before opening visited. one in the evening, the other day. the outer has an extensive planting with a colourful. there is a massive garden/seat area and a wonderful wisteria. I have observed from the closeness, the depiction and total redesign of the interior. it looks great and has a pleasant feeling as a set of “designers” restaurants in these days. there was a little service problem with my second meal, but hopefully after I log back, that will be corrected. the food was excellent on both occasions. nice to have another pub/restaurant near tarvin. it will keep others on their faces!"

"Nice cafe with motorcycle accessory shop on the same site, good parking. Food was freshly cooked and well presented, and a good cup of coffee.
