I used to be a fan of Domino's until I tried Papa John's in Canterbury yesterday. The pizza was awesome, way better than Domino's. The staff was very helpful.

The pizza at this restaurant is amazing and the delivery is fast. The person taking the order was very patient and helpful. It's top-notch! I highly recommend it.

Terrible pizza, anaemic pale, greasy, bland no flavour at all. The garlic dip is a vile chemical soup that tastes even worse than it looks and smells. Would be expensive even if it was good. First visit to this branch, outside looks nice and fresh and inviting. Menu not bad and choice is good, pricing is average for area. Completely disappointed in the ability to even get parked, the road outside is full of the cars belonging to the drivers who deliver. Cars parked stupidly and dangerously on double yellow and pavements, out smoking cigarettes and chatting. Looks awful and didn't entice to visit again. Twenty minutes to wait for parking space and the drivers acted as is they owned the road, disgrace and inconsiderate. Shame.

I ordered a pizza in the morning to pick up in the evening, but when I arrived, I was informed that my order had been cancelled by Papa John's and that I would be refunded. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction at not being notified earlier, I was told that I had been informed and advised to check my messages again. I was told that I could place a new order but would have to pay again and wait for another ten to fifteen minutes for the pizza to be prepared. The parking situation at Papa John's in Canterbury was also inconvenient. As I did not have my purse with me, I decided not to re-order. No apology or resolution was offered, and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Updated Wow has this place gone so down hill... So I'm a regular here and now i wont be coming back now. All the staff have changed from what i can tell no one from the original people from my first 5star review remain. Where do i begin... so apparently speaking/understanding English has become a difficult task for the person who now works the till/phone, i hate to think the number of incorrect orders he has put through. He's friendly enough but i have had to resort to pointing out what i want on the menu as philly cheesestake with added mushrooms was incomprehensible to him.
