Thankyou to the lovely waitress who served our table today. My two young grandsons enjoyed their pizza and bolognaise. Thankyou again to our waitress for bringing the birthday cake to our table for us to sing happy birthday.

Went out to celebrate my birthday and wish I hadn't bothered. We had a decent enough table... But that was it, we waited ages for our food order to be taken while the waitress walked backwards and forwards in front of us. In the end,...we got up and left without ordering and went elsewhere. I've been going to that Pizza Express for years... Oh well...

terrible not here! armed and after 25 minutes without service at all, in a barely full restaurant we had to go. the 2 waitresses were busy cleaning the Deliveroo tables and wiping that they did not notice the few customers in the inner...that wait a chap and a dame from different tables had to both stand up to order drinks and whispers. the personal, the customer relationship looked good, but this is the second time in a month, we have tried pizza express and the second time that the service did not exist. Don't come here, try somewhere else!

we have booked a table at this pizza express as we were in norwich for a few days. To be honest, we were very disappointed. the restaurant seemed to be tired, the staff overworked and around the tables, there were eating on the floor. it. it has looted as if the cleaning was the last thing the staff had in mind as if they were not at the top! that was nice, but unfortunately they forgot to eat our cream and so we had to wait one for it. the waitress apologised and a discount was taken from our bill for inconvenience. the restaurant looks like it needs a general overhaul and the toilets have seen better days.

So we set ourselves up, where were tables outside and not reserved, had a lot of glass carry outside and the entrance showed that they did not clean the table over an hour and a half, we got said someone was short with us. a little later I sent my partner to see if we could serve, got us a booking and we said no, but we were on an empty unbooked table, they said we could sit there. my question is. why empty unbooked tables have when we are not allowed to sit and are served like all others! we went away because we didn't want to sit on a opaque table for 20 minutes before we were even released, let alone served!

We booked a table a week in advance. Table wasn’t ready when we arrived. I understand they are busy. Food is expensive for the quality. £15 for a pizza that you have to cut yourself, and goes cold very quickly, as plates aren’t hot. Dough...balls £4.50, really poor and not worth the value, luckily our dough balls were free. We were given a regular glass for our beer, as they had ‘run out’, but could see some that were clean on the side. We tried to check in to claim our free dough balls, however our table number wasn’t recognised. Came here yesterday with 2 friends and 3 children in total. The first waitress we had was fantastic. Spoke in Italian to my Italian friend. Food was really nice, but the manager walking around the room looked to be in a really bad mood with...no smiles for customers. After we had finished, it took over 20 minutes for the staff to clear our table and bring out the childrens desserts we tried several times to get their attention as they rushed past us and we felt ignored. By this point the children were getting fidgety, totally understandable. This caused a fair few dirty looks from the manager. If the table was cleared sooner we would have eaten dessert and left so I felt the looks were total...
