"Gestern war unser erster Besuch im La Vida. Wir haben die Tapas Karte hoch und runter gegessen. (16 verschiedene - und es gibt noch weitere auf der Karte) ... Licht und Schatten ... Avocadopaste 5 Sterne+++ richtig, richtig gut! Tortilia, Lamm, Fleischspiese auch gut, seltsamerweise war die Aioli weniger toll, das geht besser! Die selbstgemachten Tintenfischringe waren ebefalls schwach - ein nichtsagender Teig der sich voll Fett gesaugt hatte, schade sahen toll aus. Schnell war alles auf dem Tisch, sehr netter freundlicher Service. Wir kommen wieder und testen die Hauptspeise, bin gespannt auf die Paella (muss man vorbestellen). Ein Spanier ohne Kaninchen auf der Karte? ... Freuen uns auf d nächsten Besuch, vlt schon nächste Woche."

"We went to the family for Christmas dinner with you today. Unfortunately for the first time, but certainly not the last time. The world's best calf carving, what you've ever eaten; a poem; Gambas in the appetizer to the point in a magnificent sauce, dessert to fall in love. You can taste the fresh ingredients and the harmonious preparation. Service class, friendly and attentive. Ambience beautiful and bright, only manko is something acoustic when it is very full. I underestimated the little corner. Respect!"

"We were hoping to find an authentic German gasthaus in a smaller town or city. Sometimes these places look charming but the are, in truth, on the mediocre side. Not this one. It features evening service daily except Monday and extra hours for Sunday afternoon....Local people and families frequent the Merzbacher Hof. The menus is not extensive, it features a variety of meats (including horse sauerbraten seasonally), a nice bar with three beers on tap plus wines and liqueurs. The outdoor dining is wonderful on a mild summer night. On weekends you may need a reservation. English is spoken by some of the staff and you will be made to feel welcome."

"Ich war am 07.03.2017 wiederholt, heute zu Mittag, in Begleitung eines Freundes in diesem im netten dalmatinischem Ambiente ausgestatteten Restaurant. Da das Restaurant gut besetzt war waren wir auf die Platzierung durch den Kellner angewiesen. Wir wurden an einen Zweiertisch mit zwei gegenüber liegenden Sitzbänken in Restaurantmitte geleitet. Die Sitzposition erschien uns, was die Körpernähe zum Tisch anbetrifft zu eng bemessen, sodass kaum Platz zwischen Bauch und Tischplatte vorhanden war (wohl bemerkt: Wir sind beide nicht korpulent). Darüberhinaus war die Nähe zu den Nachbartischen unangenehm, da Gespräche nur in gedämpfter Stimmlage geführt werden konnten. Alle Tische waren nett mit weißer Tischwäsche eingedeckt und mit frischen Blumen geschmückt. Mein bestelltes Tellergericht: "Räuberfleisch" mit Djuwetsch-Reis und Pommes Frites zu 14,50 € war von ausgezeichneter Qualität und Quantität und somit für jeden Fleischliebhaber ein besonderer Genuß. Zuvor konnten wie uns an der Salatvitrine bedienen und erhielten dazu auch noch eine exzellente Gemüsesuppe. Das von meiner Begleitung bestellte Tellergericht: Gegrillte Geflügelleber mit gebratenen Zwiebeln und Pommes Frites entsprach leider nicht den Erwartungen. Es war zu trocken und so zäh, das ein Bissen zu einem minutenlangen Hustenanfall geführt hat. Allerdings muß lobend erwähnt werden, dass sogleich ein Glas Wasser zur Linderung gereicht wurde.Die beiden bestellten 0,5L-Weizenbiere à 3,80 € liegen preislich im Trend. Mein Gericht inkl. Bier ist zum Preis von 18,30 € eigentlich zu kostenintensiv und angelehnt an den ehemaligen DM-Preis inkl. Trinkgeld nicht gerade preiswert. Fazit: Fleischfreunde sind mit dem "Räuberteller" gut bedient. Lebergerichte sollten nach dieser Erfahrung eher nicht bestellt werden.mumeco im März 2017"

"We were in Nepheli yesterday. We do not know why here some think that the portions are too expensive, the service is unfriendly. None of it can and we want to write here on the contrary! The staff is friendly. The sections are more than sufficient. The pictures show the same dishes, in the first order of the Metaxa plate I had Pommes and yesterday these ingenious garlic potatoes. It is simply great to eat there, the meat is butter soft the gyro is the hammer, the Tzatziki skin only around and from the prices... cheap. 2 adults, 1 bottle of water, 1 crumbs and the two dishes with 1 x extra red rice (very horny!!! for a total of 40 euros that still think to mecker, you can no longer help. We are very happy and look forward to the next visit of Nepheli, Rheinbach without ob and but, 5 stars!!!"
