"Just had a great meal at Platia. I was there eating alone on a business trip and had a delightful Greek meal. The restaurant is clearly a favorite with the localsfrom young dates to family meals to just visiting with colleagues. there was a constant...flow of people all eveninga credit to the place. I had the grilled octopus noted from a previous reviewer and it was delicious. I also ordered the Lamb skewer and while the vegetables and peppers were great, the lamb was a bit more cooked than I liked. the meal was topped off with a shot of ouzo and the traditional yogurt with honey at no extra cost. A perfect ending to the meal. But above all the service was impeccable. Saria and her assistant were perfectnot pushy but there when you wanted them. I will certainly return there on future trips"

I have eaten here often and it is always a pleasure. The choice of starters and mains is good, only the vegetarians are a little shortchanged, but there is plenty of fish and meat to choose from. I can't comment on the dessert, as I've...always been too full to have one. The wine recommendations are also really good, let GiorgosJorgos not sure how to spell it know what kind of wine you like and he will bring it to you. You won't be disppointed
