"First seated right at the back in the dark, despite having booked ahead. Then when a table became free we asked to move forward a bit. Waiters were all very grumpy and quite hard to flag down Range of menus (dim sum, picture menu, full menu) at first confusing and just one of each between the four of us. But food was good BBQ pork, Indonesian prawns with fried patties, duck in plum sauce, soft shell crab, prawn and seaweed croquettes, rainbow dumplings, chilli tofu, special rice, mushroom dumplings, veggie spring rolls At £229 for 4 (3 bottles of wine) rather pricey. Nearby table was very noisy at first. No real atmosphere to the place."

Quick service and food was piping hot and fresh! Cannot fault the food in any way as it was delicious and the portions were great!

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with polite staff and delicious dim sum. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try dim sum for the first time without worrying about getting overcharged.

The food was delicious and served hot. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the servers are courteous. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, we were not hurried to pay and leave after finishing our meal. I will definitely come back if I get the chance.

The picture on the internet are misleading our little table was downstairs by the toilets. The service wasn‘t friendly either. The Food didn‘t taste good at all. At the end we felt as if they wanted to get rid of us so that they could welcome the next guests. The price/performance ratio is not right at all. We would never go there again!

Plum Valley was new to me having eaten in and around Soho for decades. There were new and different dishes to try, loved the decor! Staff were extremely efficient but also friendly. My friend and I sat upstairs at lunchtime on a Saturday and it felt calm and quite quiet although most tables were taken and we were unrushed. We had some unusual cod ‘nests’ served with a delicious mango sauce has to be tried ! We paid just under £50 per head but that included a whole bottle of a lovely light rosé…..
