Pomara - Menu

Restaurant to hotel Pomora. I eat pasta and to be italian cooked, I was not impressed. I tested two different dishes. But their bruschetta was very good!

I gusti della terra. Antipasti rustici, asparagi e finocchietto. Selvatico. Pappardelle con finocchio selvatico. Spaghetti agli asparagi, fave novelle e lonza al forno con patate. Tutto delizioso.

Very popular with the locals and even the police pop in for a long, slow lunch or dinner. The wines are local and excellent organic quality. Traditional Sicilian food, served with care and loving attention to detail.

A restaurant recommended by Michelin and Trip Advisor with bad service.. Pasta too salty and not home made, extra cheese in all antipasti, and a crime for every meat liver: grill-man changing constantly. Not recommended

Great evening with awesome food! Family owned restaurant which holds the same name as the hotel but is far from standard hotel food. This is proper Italian food. 6-8 euro for a good plate of pasta and 10-12 euro for meat. 20 euro for the menu of the day. Good prices, for great tasting food! Thanks.

We were tired and most of all hungry after a long day visiting Piazza Armerina and Villa Romana del Casale. We took this unplanned opportunity to have dinner and were surprised...the food and wine were excellent!! Keep it up Pomara we will surely revisit St Michele di Ganzaria thanks to your good service!!!

We ate dinner here towards the end of October on a Friday night and it was busy without being crowded or rushed. The first course, with a variety of appetizers, was amazing, and the second with fire grilled pork steak was really good too. We enjoyed the ambiance, the waiters were friendly and attentive without being pushy, the house wine was good and the green grapes which came with a beautiful fruit bowl for dessert were the best I have ever eaten. We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant.

I've been to Pomara twice and on both occasions it delivered quality food in generous quantities at extremely reasonable prices. The food was typically Sicilian, rustic but simple and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. In winter the highlight of Pomara is certainly the wood-burning oven in the middle of the dining area where patrons can watch their meats cook. During the warmer months, dining on the terrace allows for a better dining experience. Pomara will not the most refined restaurant you will eat at but it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Abbiamo trascorso la notte all'Hotel Pomara per un matrimonio e siamo venuti qui per cena. Possiamo dire con sicurezza che è stata la migliore cena di tutta la vacanza! E così inaspettata! Siamo arrivati ​​tardi nella zona e ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte. Ci hanno offerto un aperitivo, un delizioso piatto di bruschetta e frutta gratuitamente. E l'agnello era fuori dal mondo! Lo chef ha cucinato un grande e fresco pezzo di agnello sul fuoco aperto ed era delizioso! L'agnello era cucinato alla perfezione e le porzioni erano così generose. Consigliamo vivamente di visitare questo posto! Una bellissima sorpresa per il nostro viaggio e torneremo sicuramente.
