"I had a special family lunch here for 15 people, including one in a wheelchair and booked it about a month in advance. The staff I dealt with were all brilliant throughout the whole process, explaining the wheelchair access and the available menus. I was anxious on the day, but I needn't have been. The staff continued to be helpful and efficient. There was great food, pleasing to all the pick palates young and old and the service was swift and friendly. Thank you all so much!"

A great local pub. The pizza take away is a great deal and nice to have a quick half while you wait. Staff are lovely as well.

Really nice pub. I wish the outside matched the inside,because inside is really nice! Lovely staff and nice food. We tried the mushroom and potato scotch egg and really enjoyed it!

Brilliant pub, beautiful decor inside, nice and bright, great food and excellent service. We all had a delicious sirloin steak, brownie dessert was fresh and scrumptious. Found it by chance and would definitely go back.

Attended our son and his fiancées wedding reception there last weekend and stayed 3 nights. We were extremely well looked after and found the staff to be very helpful despite being worked to a frazzle by 100 thirsty guests. Many thanks to Dan and the team!

Amazing Sunday lunch 3/7/2022. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Great with the kids. Loved the fact we could enjoy a roast and the kids tucked into amazing pizzas! Loads of room and a great table. The roast was amazing! Thanks guys.

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this place very much and we will definitely return

Been around 5 times in the last few weeks to the Princess Victoria and all I can say is that feels like home, I’m not used to write reviews but this pub really deserves a good one! Every time I walk in the stuff is always been lovely and caring, especially one of the managers ,a nice girl with dark hair.

We had a lovely time during our recent visit to The Princess Victoria and really felt quite at home even though this was our first visit. The Sunday Roast lunch was delicious and the portion size very generous. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and after lunch we enjoyed time in the bar. The building and interior is beautifully historic and considering it was built in 1829, is quite remarkable.
