"Been visiting this wonderful place annually for or years and always had a great experience. The lovely staff were so welcoming to myself, hubby and our young children and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We sat inside this time as I...just adore the history of the place and feel as though I have gone back in time when I visit. The cream tea is the best and we have sampled lots! The scones were fresh from the oven and the bumbleberry jam and cream delicious. My son had the chocolate fudge cake which he enjoyed and my little two had hot chocolates and brownies (a lot of chocolate but treats are what holidays are for Usually they offer a lovely kids menu, with homemade pizza, sandwiches and things but the day we visited they were short staffed due to Corona virus pinging so were offering a limited menu. Despite this, and the challenges for the remaining staff, we had a lovely visit as ever. Thoroughly recommend this place, the quality of food and the level of customer service is exemplary and places like this are sadly now few and far between."

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Housed in a charming old rectory, the menu caters perfectly to gluten-free diners. The gluten-free cream teas are a delightful treat for those with celiac disease. The service was top-notch and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the lovely patio.

it is hard to know whether it is in devon or cornwall. but whatever they like their camouflaged cream and strawberry jam, this is the best cream tee in the opposite and we have a few rehearsals! best fragrance (big and freshly baked .... best jam (home made) ... best tinted sawn (thicker. best tee (served in a large teepot with hot water on the side) ... charming garden in front of a wonderful old house ... nice service. it is out of the beaten away, but a worthy destination enjoys!

this is the place for a cream tee and best gluten free lunch we went the swcp and a cream tea stop here was one that we certainly did not want to miss after a ten miles walk on our walking tour. my daughter. was so satisfied with the gluten-free menu, as it was indestructible from normal baked and scorpion, which is very unusual. I don't think it was just because we had worked up an appetit; this was the best cream tee served with a huge pot tee on beautiful vintage china and with a smile though they were really busy.

I took my 8-year-old grandson here for a special treat (and myself too!). The children's menu was limited and the pizza was nothing special. However, I loved the large cream tea; it was more than I could eat. The scone was delicious and the farmhouse salad was good as well. Be prepared to pay £4.50 for a slice of cake. We made a reservation knowing that it gets busy, and we sat at table 1 just inside the door. The quirky decor was enjoyable, with interesting things to look at on every surface and wall. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

we were very local and had heard many good things about the tee room, so was looking forward to lunch. overall, it could be better and I don't think we'll be back. positiw. cordially welcome from a beautiful dame that was a real interest in...our vacation quick service beautiful sandwiches banana loaf cake was delicious let us down. limited with option menu takeaway scone but not to take jam or cream due to the fact that the availability of takeaway pots limited paid lunch, but after the payment for the addition of cake and tee we were presented with the lunch bill the waiter who was busy with it was very flowing and began to get visibly frustrated, also seemed unnecessary for the beautiful...

Tables cleaning shiny and not sticky. good portion jam and...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
