The food was very nice and staff were very friendly the naan bread was the best we have tasted anywhere the portion size we're excellent and the food was very tastie we stopped locally and were recommended the restaurant by the bank bar across the road.

Had pickle tray poppadoms, lamb tikka chicken pokora, chicken damask garlic naan and mushroom rice . No alcohol licence but they are happy for you being your own £3 corkage: pickle tray great just missing mint yoghurt . Lamb tikka sparce. Everything else beautiful . A great spot and a delicious curry. We live in London and has had multiple curries but this was one of the best once we have had. We had a fish curry and a karaai. You can bring your own drink and there is a shop next door which makes it easy. Ahmed the waiter was lovely and you can customize your dish. Had a very lovely time!

Can’t fault the restaurant, which was very clean and well organised. Staff were friendly and efficient. Menu was varied. My gripe and is is probably an unfair comparison as the Indian restaurant where I used to live was exceptional) is that the food was a bit bland, lacking any depth of flavour, which is not the same as adding more chilli. Please spice the food up a bit, chef.

We are staying at Rivendale Lodge retreat and found Red Chilli online, we placed our order online for delivery, expecting it to be refused. However, the order was accepted, we received a call to confirm the order and to give us an expected delivery time. We received a further call to confirm the food was on its way. I had an amazing dining experience at Red Chilli in Ashbourne. This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I was impressed by how clean and well-presented everything was. The food was excellent, especially the garlic rice and Chef's special curry. The service was top-notch, thanks to Kalum who was very attentive and professional. I would definitely give Red Chilli five stars for their food, flavor, and service, and I highly recommend it to others. I will definitely be coming back again. Was staying locally and went on a Monday night. Food was excellent; Poppadoms, Tardka deal, Mix Veg Bujia, Naans, Tandoori Roti and Mixed kebab starter. With bonus of take your own alcohol. It's a shame we live in Leicester as would return here often. In Leicester the food (no matter where we have been) contains too much masala and too much salt. I am Punjabi and enjoy my spice, but too often the restaurant food goes through me, as a result we only eat out if invited out. The service upon arrival was pleasant and efficient. However, we received double the amount of popadoms we had ordered, which seemed odd. After waiting for an hour without any indication of when our food would arrive, we noticed that a table which arrived after us had already been served. It turned out that they were served first because they did not receive popadoms like we did. When we questioned this, we were told that the table had been served first because they did not have popadoms. This was the final straw for us, as waiting for over an hour in a restaurant without any explanation was unacceptable.
