Super customer service, incredibly delicious food, beautiful ambience and the best Persian restaurant from all over Cologne! We are regular guests have really tested all our well-known Persian restaurants in Cologne: Alborz remains our favorite!

I like persian eating very ... have become aware of it by a friend...not to believe that I did not yet know this restaurant.super nice operation...beautiful ambience...but what is important was that eating was really excellent. we will see again soon .danke

I was more than 20 times there. This Iranian restaurant is the best in Cologne and also compared to the Iranian restaurants in Aachen and Düsseldorf. I suggest to try Chenje and Barg kebap there. Was there for dinner today and can only recommend it to anyone. Since I'm used to Arabic cuisine from home, I wanted to try something else. It was unbelievably good and had to put it in because it was six big portions. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! Very nice service, super cook and very delicious food!

I've eaten there several times and think the food is ok for the price, but last time I ate and drank for around €120. At the end I ordered an espresso and asked for a glass of tap water with it. This was refused to me on the grounds that it was the decision of the restaurant manager. No matter how good the food is or the service, I will never visit this restaurant again and will also advise all my friends not to do so.

We had Muslim friends, therefore we thought it would be good to eat here for halal food, based on local friend's recommendation. The tandoori bread was delicious and we ordered some dips to go with it. Also ordered the grilled platter, which is tasty. We finished off with Iranian hot tea. Service was friendly and pleasing. The restaurant environment was a bit worn down but it is still not that bad. Overall for 8 pax it cost us 150 Euros. Visualizza piatti

My best friend, who is an Iranian, visited me this week. We both miss the wonderful Persian food. I'm looking for an authentic Persian restaurant since I returned from my Iran holiday in 2012, where I can finally eat Zereshk Polo again. But in vain. Here in the restaurant Alborz I finally found it: super tasty and just as I know it. Great service and there are also many Iranians there. (My friend who lives in France and doesn't get German could order everything. I definitely come back when I'm in Cologne. Thank you.

I was at the Alborz restaurant with my mother in February 2025. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I had ordered Mirza Ghasemi. Unfortunately there was too much tomato paste in it and you couldn't even taste the eggplant. My mother had ordered Koobideh. Unfortunately both pieces were too salty. The rice was amazingly cooked, Salad Shirazi and Masto Muzir were also amazing. The Shiraz wine was at a perfect temperature and was very easy to drink. Overall a very nice stay, it's just a shame because of the small deficiencies in the main course.

Zuerst möchte ich über die Vorspeise sprechen, die wirklich sehr mager war und der Service insqesamt sehr schwach war. Es schien, als würden einige der Kellner mit Widerwillen bedienen. Das Verhältnis von Quantity zu Preis war nicht justified. Es sollte nicht für jede Kleinigkeit additionales Geld von den Gästen verlangt werden. I hope, dass die Betreiber dieses Restaurants das verstehen. Wenn Sie bereits einen kostenlosen Service wie Tee anbieten, wäre es besser, diesen wirklich kostenlos zu lassen, zu lassen zu verlangen nach der Bezahlung der Rechnung noch einmal 1 Euro für den Tee zu verlangen.
