"We met friends in the 11th specifically to go to Au Ciel to try their Hotpot. We'd all been to ONEPOT (13th) a couple times and wanted to compare. So my title "our 2nd Hot-pot" is more describing the sequence of visits rather than my rating.The restaurant takes reservations, and on a Saturday evening I suggest you make one; the place is small and was full all the while we were there. Their main attraction is the HOTPOT, but their menu is quite extensive beyond the first two pages, which focus on the hotpot. We only focused on the hotpot. Note that most tables were populated by asians and many were enjoying other items besides (or along with) hotpot.You are given a choice of different broths and a menu of additions to your broth. We all chose a Sate based broth, and then many of the items on the menu. Beef, Lamb, Tripe, sausages, ham, shrimp, crab, surimi, fish-mousse, squid, seaweed, all the usual veggies and assorted noodles and tofu including YUBA (the skin from boiling soy-milk, my partner's favorites) and a few things I am not sure what they are, but all of it was good. One of the real positives about AuCiel is that the you can push your selection to exactly YOUR tastes. My partner does not eat meat, so she just ordered more fish based adders to her choices. The hotpot is served 'au volenté' meaning you could have as much as you wanted. We ordered some seconds, but really at the end of the 1st cycle we were full.Service was prompt and effective. The temperature controller on my induction plate portion of the table only had FULL ON or OFF, so it took me a while to get good at controlling my broth temperature. Desserts are offered, we were too full to even consider any. We enjoyed a bottle of Riesling with our dinner."

The weakening in the restaurant is misleading. fondue fade, meat not fresh, and waitresses do not include French.

resto tres chinese fondues are very good and the choices of brouillons are very interesting together I recommend small end of china for the trip gustatif

amazing food, great service, the shrimp and crab are delicious, the entree are just perfect, was my choice for a couple of times. Moshi as a dessert is so good. never disappointed every time i am back.

it was a positive experience with new flavors and a very good fondue that we tried with shrimp and steak and various vegetables and noodles, etc. a must for all those who want to try an authentic place! Next time I'm betting, I just have to go back.

the Chinese fondue, the real! to have lived in China several years, how happy to find these flavors and this atmosphere. As if we were there!The spicy melt is very good. I took the little fondue from the menu at 12.80. We offer you in the menu of nature rice or vermicelles, but you are required vermicelles in the end. Concerning the fondue in itself, the broth was fade or even insipid, the mushrooms were cut into large uneven pieces hard to grasp with the chopsticks. At the time of paying, there still disappointment, no checks (ok), 1 ticket restau per person (season?????) , no cb at less than 16 € ?? ?? while all merchants accept from 10 € ? What's their concern?neanless I'll come back to test the other Sichuan dishes that were seemingly excellent from my colleagues. And otherwise a thank you to one of the two waitresses who were full of training and humour...
