"We wanted a German meal close to the Swiss border. We took a chance on this one without research. The room, service and food were completely forgettable. The service was okay. We had a variety of offings, chicken (very salty and very little taste..but juicy), a Wiener schnitzel that was not nearly thin enough with a cloyingly bad hollandaise sauce, overcooked white asparagus and basic boiled potatoes. Finally we had an odd salad with more components than an engine....so many we actually chuckled....layers of disconnected ingredients, lettuce, with cranberry cause? Beans with carrots and lettuce...bizarre.Can't recommend it. Price a bit high for the quality."

Although not in the city garden itself, it is a nice restaurant with a relaxing ambience. The food was delicious and the waiter super friendly. Definitely a recommended place to eat.

I found this restaurant just strolling by and had a zander filet with orange-pepper sauce and pasta. So delicious that I felt like licking off the plate and marry the chef. Service was fast and perfect. Visualizza piatti

Very, very bad experience. Terrible service, had to wait hours for food, took the wrong order, whole the time plates for other tables, so we were "lucky" it wasn't only our table. Bill was incorrect !!! They charged drinks we didn't had!!!! Food quality minor....More

Although the dishes were a little pricey, the portions were worth the price. Service was a little slow but the staff were very friendly, they were probably overwhelmed with guests while only staff handled the floor. Definitely worth a visit, the ambiance was pretty...good as well. I'd recommend it!

There are a few restaurants close by but this had a slightly nicer seated area. We sat outside and ordered beer and a selection of main courses. Services was friendly and patient, we couldn't decide...Everyone was happy and the bill was reasonable. It's close to the Holiday In where we were staying so really handy. A very pleasant evening. A restaurant with German food that's not very good unfortunately. It's also too pricey for what you get. Service was in the beginning speedy, but after the meal was brought to the table, they forget about you completely. One waitress was too lazy to even bring us the dessert menu and asked the other one where they were. We didn't bother ordering any dessert. Try the Spanish restaurant next to it, maybe there food and service is better.

We went to this restaurant and ordered two schnitzel without cream sauce and mushrooms... well we got the salad, and everything was ok. Then we got the schnitzels... and there was mushrooms with cream sauce. Well we decided to take sauce away and the mushrooms too. I started to eat, and take a first bite. What a nice surprice... there was a bone piece on the meat... which didn't didn't feel nice. It was funny that they didn't want give us new meals, after all this. So we ate a little bit and left.

"A way forward: The restaurant has a new owner for several months! The many negative reviews you can read here (or need to refer to the previous owner. The restaurant is no longer a pizzeria, but offers German and Baltic cuisine at a high level. Last weekend we were (4 people for dinner. I really have to say all 1A. The selection of dishes is very extensive, so there should be something for everyone. Traditionally, German and Balkan specialities are offered, with the Balkans not only being limited to one country. Cevapcici, Bulgarian or Greek specialities are found, so you can hardly decide. The appetizers can also be seen. I had a filled Pita bread with garlic and sheep cheese (very tasty and my wife baked Peperoni (also pointed). The added appetizer Tzatziki also tastes very good. As the main course I had Gyros who was just as delicious and crispy as my favorite Greeks. All dishes are visually very appealing and taste wonderful. The portions are more than sufficient after the starter, we were already satisfied: The price-performance ratio is very good. The outdoor terrace has a huge and fully automatic marquise, which covers the entire area and thus invites you to stay in the event of an impact sunshine. The staff is also friendly and accommodating. And of course we could pay with the card (maybe this was not the case with the previous owner, but the new owners can do nothing for it. Conclusion: Everything in all is worth the visit and we will surely return."
