"We ordered a bottle of prosecco, starters, main dishes, coffee and tap water and when we got the bill they charged us 6ch for the tap water. When we commented about this we were told that we are no longer in America and that all the restaurants do this in Zurich. I've lived in Zurich over 15 years and have seen some restaurants do this but this is usually short lived. Most do not charge for water. This practice of charging for water is completely a wring and if they do charge the guest should be told in advance. I really do not understand this behavior. They say they donate the money to a charity but I guess this is not an environmental charity. The cost to the environment is huge (bottling, transport, recycling etc) and in a country where tap water is excellent it is unforgivable. The management should be ashamed."

Always a pleasure to visit, super friendly staff and host my Son loves the chocolate and banana pancakes and the croissant are some of the best I’ve tasted in Zurich.

We drop by regularly for the hamburgers which are excellent and served with very good fries. There are a couple that can be shared and we have tried these as well. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. Great for families.

We came for afternoon drinks and snacks to this lovely restaurant in the heart of Zurich Seefeld with outside seating. All service personnel was very friendly and helpful. I was very happy to find this place, they spoke English well and made our lunch very enjoyable! The menu was also partly in English and the waiter went out of his way to make us comfortable. They also had convenient indoor or outdoor seating choices, and good sized TVs by the bar inside. As an American travelling in Zurich for the first time I was very happy to find this place! Went there just last night with 2 friends, and was very happy with both the food and the service. We ordered burgers, I particularly enjoyed my Avocado Burger choice, but the other Blue-Cheese burger as well as the Chicken Salad with Caesar dressing looked amazing. Two strong positives of this place - the service (our waiter was the nicest guy, careful, responsive and fun!) and the quality of the meat. What to expect from it?An easy-going, good ambient and nice environment type of place. If you are expecting this place to be fancy, perhaps this is not the best choice for you.We will be back!

Okay, so maybe it's more of a 4 star instead of a 5 star, but hey it's our neighborhood restaurant and we need to be biased. The burgers are brilliant and they constantly offer new seasonal options that make things much more interesting. The other... food is also really nice. Soup, salad, appetizers and desserts. My favourite this season is the Raclette Burger, which is a truly unique Swiss experience along with the sweet potatoes and Cole Slav. The cheesecake is another must. Like other Swiss meat, I'd rather have knocked the meat well, although I'm usually a medium-sized meat eater around the world. The Swiss beef just needs to cook a bit more or it will chew.
