The only issue was that the park was flooded so had to make a very long round trip to get to the restaurant rather than being able to come through the park which added to the expense of the evening. It was also very quiet as I believe people thought they could not get to it. Food great though."

Fabulous food, exceptional service wonderful location. The dessert was absolutely amazing, so light and full of flavour.

Service as usual excellent. Food very good although would have liked an advocado benedict. Hubby would have liked a pot of coffee (i.e more than one cup). Son loved the pancakes.

disappointed with our lunch haddock was a bit over cooked. My friend also had haddock but without batter and she felt her dish was also a dry. Other than the above service as excellent as ever

Had brunch with a friend on Saturday, hadn’t eaten there before and was pleasantly surprised Great food and good sized portions, we had a leisurely time and weren’t rushed by the nice staff I’m planning on taking my husband next week !

My 4th visit to Assembly and definitely the best meal I’ve had there so far. Such a unique choice of menu which is different from other restaurants in Carlisle. The staff are extremely welcoming, attentive, and all round amazing! Excited to visit again to see what fabulous food my tastebuds will experience.
