"We were here in 2022 and it was amazing. Great food, exciting wine and fun people. Back in 2024 and it was none of these things. The food was hit and miss: this is fine, because it's an ever-changing menu, but today wasn't great. Worse was the wine. Don't get me wrong, the wine selection is awesome. But we got such small pours of wine, especially compared to other tables, that I genuinely felt cheated. A real shame. And that was the fun people part: we were hurried between courses, food arriving when we were at aperitif, coffee being offered during dessert wine, etc. Yes, we're not cool snowboarders, but treat us like you also care about outsiders. A real shame. I hope it reverts to the 2022 experience."

Excellent vegetarian restaurant both in the quality of the ingredients and in the service. Creativity of the dishes worthy of a starred restaurant, very good and surprising cocktails and wines. A must-visit restaurant if you pass through Laax!

A 3-course vegetarian meal (choice between 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts) for around fifty francs. The meal was incredible in both presentation and taste, and the serving team was very friendly. Flawless! Reservation required if you want a place.

A great vegetarian breakfast buffet with vegan options. We stayed at the hotel and booked breakfast and were so glad we did it! A beautiful place and really great options for breakfast. Definately recommend eating here. Menu changes every couple of days in order to make sure it is fresh and seasonal. It is full vegetarian, and you choose a starter, a main and a dessert. We ate here twice in week and both times we had a completely different menu. I would suggest to always get the plate that looks the most odd to you, that is what I did and I glad that I tried such unique flavors.

I am not a vegeterian, but I don't mind trying something new and healthier from time to time. I liked our 5-course meal, it was sophisticated, I learned some new dishes and tastes, but it wasn't anything that I would come back for. It was definitely interesting, some great combos there (the dessert with the beetroot was so unexpectedly good! , but the overall rate from me is 4 stars. Plus with such a short menu, if I wanted to come back, I would have to repeat some of my previous choices. But if you're a vegeterian, that would be a great option for you here.

"Nach unseren zurückgelegten Velokilometern waren wir doch etwas hungrig und freuten uns auf das Nachtessen. Wir haben unsere Velotour terminlich so angepasst, dass wir es schafften, im bei Matthias zu essen (haben früher begonnen und mehr Kilometer auf uns genommen). Ansonsten wären wir am Montag dort gewesen und die Küche wäre geschlossen gewesen. Das Essen im Gasthaus war aber unsere Krönung der Tour. Wir haben Reste des im Garten genossenen Sauvignon Blanc noch zum Apèro hinüberretten können. Die Auswahl der verschiedenen Speisen ist klein, aber fein. Wir liessen uns von der Chefin Elvira beraten - was darf man auf keinen Fall verpassen. Antwort: Vitello Tonnato - bestellt - und ja - wäre ein Fehler gewesen, dies nicht zu nehmen. Die Sauce hervorragend mit einer Leichtigkeit (ohne Mayo) und das Kalbfleisch geschmackvoll, nicht zu dünn geschnitten. Dazu hat es noch Tuna gegeben - Sashimi Qualität. Zum Hauptgang haben wir das Kalb suvit, das Lamm auf Heu genommen. Alles ausgezeichnet - ich bin nicht so ein Suvit-fan, aber das was Matthias hier aufgetischt hat, war traumhaft. Danke. Das Lamm kam in einem "Heuhaufen", war auf den Punkt rosa gebraten und einen tollen Geschmack. Schon die Amuse buche waren sensationell - Zitronensüppchen war äusserst köstlich. Die Küche ist insgesamt geprägt von Innovation, aber es ist nicht verspielt, das Gericht bleibt immer im Mittelpunkt. Das Lokal war ausgebucht (das an einem Sonntag Abend) und der Service hat tadellos geklappt - freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. Die positive Haltung des Chefkoch Matthias ist wohl ansteckend. Es ist schön, dass er Melodien summt, wenn er die Speisen an den Tisch bringt. Wirklich ansteckend. Die Weinkarte ist sehr gut zusammengestellt - schönes aus der Bündner Herrschaft und aus aller Welt. Im Sommer werden die Rotweine gut gekühlt serviert - man bringt aber auch gerne einen Eiskübel, wenn man es etwas kühler mag. Wenn man die Gelegenheit hat, sollte man in den Naturkeller hinuntersteigen - sehr schön gemacht. Wir kommen sicher wieder - herzlichen Dank für den schönen kulinarischen Abend."
