"We stay on site for a few months a year so use the restaurant quite often. Location is fantastic and food usually good. This year we arrived at 7 pm personally to book on the same evening for 8 pm. We wanted a table near the lakeside shore they offered a certain table we accepted. When we came back, they had given this table to someone and offered a table on the back. When I explained that the lady was not interested at all. Shrugged and said the people on our table were already served. No excuse. As far as she is concerned, she sold the table and did not take care of us. This year with Covid is the whole area very busy so they can afford to abuse their regular customers, but maybe it will be different next year!! There are many good restaurants near Zappa, Cantina Caprese. We're not going back. I prefer to give my money to someone friendly"

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, nette Atmosphäre, gemütlich eingerichtet und top Aussicht auf den See.Menükarte variert je nach Saison, finde ich klasse!! Kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr leckere Küche, nettes Familienunternehmen, wunderschöne Lage direkt am See mit Blick auf Morcote. Zimmer einfach aber sauber und mit hübschem Balkon direkt über dem See. Empfehlenswert. Grazie Stefano e famiglia

What a gem of a restaurant situated right next to lake lugano overlooking the picturesque Morcote. All we needed was the motorboat to arrive in (as several others did). Curtains gently blowing in the breeze made it feel cool and pleasant. Great choice of pizza, pasta, fish and meat. The spaghetti alle vongole was amazing. We will eat there 3 times in our weeks holiday.
