"We stumbled across the riverside inn when searching for nearby dog friendly pubs. We called to make a reservation and the staff had placed a doggy bowl of water at our table lovely touch! Two of us had the steak pie, the other the chicken burger. I have to say it was the nicest steak pie that I have had in a very long time! It really was delicious! The vegetables were lovely, and I had potatoes with mine. My sons chicken burger was lovely and tender, he said it was very well cooked and tasty (high praise from a teenager! The staff were great it was truly a lovely lovely visit!"

Had my own gluten free menu love that. Toasted sandwich with Brie, bacon and chutney with salad and coleslaw just hit the spot. Great service too.

Really friendly pub. The staff are really attentive and they certainly make a fuss of your four legged friend, if you have one. A little gem in Callander.

Friendly atmosphere, great service. Plenty of choice on the menu. We choose well the food was absolutely excellent. It provided us with excellent shelter from the storm. Would definitely recommend.

This is a fantastic little restaurant with delicious food. They are dog-friendly, which is a bonus. The staff is very friendly and the Christmas Eve meal was wonderful. I will definitely be returning soon.

I went to this restaurant for dinner and was warmly welcomed by the friendly bar staff who provided fast service. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous. I would definitely recommend this place.

Although the pub has been under new ownership, the service remains excellent with friendly staff. There is a great menu for those with allergens, as well as a good selection of beers, whiskeys, etc. Definitely worth a visit.

Called in here after walking along the river from Strathyre. The staff were so friendly and professional and immediately brought some water for our dog and gave her a fuss. We sat outside looking over to the river. Had the chicken BLT and it was spot on. Rest of the food looked great and we called in again for a drink another evening and it was very popular with diners. Place is fresh, nicely decorated and clean
